Never mind why BOD employed JC....what about why JC decided to join BOD...surely plenty of other opportunities for someone with his experience. I also don't think he will be sitting on his hands waiting for things to happen, only 3/4 months since appointed and one deal completed for new SA prospect, drilling started on it already....agreement with BCL to drill verification holes despite ongoing issues with BCL liquidation etc. Drilling completed and being analysed.

Short term pain currently as a result of a placing, which looks like it was badly managed. Prospects still v. strong.

Good post Ruthie! You don't see Fenners here on blue days as that doesn't suit its agenda! It's nice to see the share price on the up as my ride in BOD is not a free one! I believe that BOD employed James Campbell for a reason and we have to be patient to find out what that was! Firmor I hope we have those results by the end of May my friend! GLA

Fenners you must have an agenda. Eaten bread is soon forgotten. Pan Andean bought for cash in 2009 - 17p a share I think plus Clontarf shares. That was twice the then market price I think.

African Diamonds cash raised at 2p listed at 7p in 2004. Acquired by Lucara for 0.8 of a Lucara share for each African Diamond share in 2012. Current Lucara value plus dividends £2.21 = £1.76 for 7p share = 25 times your money plus BOD.

Not BOD in the disaster that is AIM

The last resort of the serial ramper of a share "these boards were for holders" ?

Since every holder of the stock can NEVER make any money without selling to the next man , the way forward is to find someone else to sell them to. Ok the holders could merely sell them between themselves last man standing switch off the lights style, but far more realistically speaking for a small co like this its going to be more retail investment that provides a route to sell to.

So how do you attract more retail investment?

One route sing the praises of a company (even if it has particularly got any) on a board such as this and hope it sparks interest - however the last thing that approach needs is someone asking awkward questions.

I actually treat these boards as a conduit to research both companies I own, have owned , might own or may never own shares in.

To me negative real information is just as important as positive - its not just about buying into winners , its also about not buying into losers.

Lets face it though "past performance is no guide to the future" the last say 10 years of the Clontarf stable's shares they HAVE been losers.

That's not personal its just true and if you cant take the heat of the truth - you stick your fingers in your ears and cover your eyes - or in this case you stick me on filter.

Has anyone still not considered the sale of all those new shares in the market taking the price down ? Its pretty obvious and with all the warrants and options still to vest looks like its likely to continue.

"13 Mar '17 - 16:32 - 2590 of 2629 0 0 Edit
As of close last year 62,719,500 warrants outstanding all issued during the year at an "average exercise price" of 2.15p of those about 15.7m were with the directors , however it does not say what their exercise price is.

Noted also the warrants exercised just before the last year end had a price of .85p /share so there are some quite different exercise prices over the range if the average price is 2.15. So who got the cheap ones and who the expensive ones? "

I'd love to see the info that was divulged to those who partook in the placing! I can't see them being happy at a 22.3% loss in just over a week! I'd like to know the exact results for PL260's extensive drill and exploration program too as "not what we had hoped for" doesn't give us much! My eyes are now firmly fixed on the end of May's results as my average is higher than the placing price! I still believe we have lots of good news to come so will be averaging down again next week making full use of my ISA allowance, as always good luck to all holders

Cynical I've filtered him as he isn't a holder, and my opinion is he offers nothing to the board! I thought these boards were for holders to discuss the company not for trolls with nothing better to do! I agree that we don't have to agree but we do have the freedom of choice to filter or not whom we wish! I didn't like fenners personal attacks if I'm honest! I'll spend, lose and gain on my money however I see fit and I'd like to do that without some keyboard warrior with sour grapes polluting my day with drivel!

Because I don't ramp this or any other share, in my opinion I refer to the accounts and quote their own "facts" and ask questions , they don't like that , however if I was to start making up things like "10p next month" that would be fine.....

Why has everyone filtered fenners? We don't all have to agree with each other?

From the interims

"We identified the locations of the previously drilled holes" - wow they found some holes in the ground - perhaps they don't need a map to go to the toilet after all.

"The intensive and extensive exploration programme on PL 260 in Orapa did not produce the desired results."

Hey Mick have a go at the directors that was negative....

" A proposal exists to drill the remaining known kimberlite on the block" - a proposal exists that can mean just about anything or nothing. Think, they chose these words carefully it does not say its going to happen , it does not say that Alrosa said no but :

"ongoing discussions between Alrosa and the Company's specialists regarding the optimal way to proceed" which could also mean its a waste of time.

After all I could propose that Mick becomes king of the world - there a proposal exists - see what I did there.

Smoke and mirrors has been the modus operandi for so long you have to read the words and see what they say , not what you want them to say.

I still question the need for a farm in deal in SA if the Botswana prospect was going to keep them busy.

Apologists - just ignore the above quotes from the accounts.
