So let's just take a moment to look at recent developments in the Falklands. Rockhopper have a partner Navitas on a 30/65% split on the basis of an oil field discovery of 500m barrels.

Borders have today announced they have experienced an increase in interest in their Darwin discovery, which has 462m barrels recoverable oil/condensate, and are in talks with potential partners. So on the basis of Rockhopper's discovery, what is likely to happen next?

adg, If Navitas pour hundreds of millions/billions into the Falklands, then that sort of money gives confidence for investment and likely some spill over into an equally valuable resource that BOR has.

If it were able to be developed and there was even a reasonable chance that it would be Borders acreage is worth easily in the region of 100p++++ PLUS per share - easily, no doubts at all about that….
It’s just that matter of if & when - now that’s the million dollar question ……

PS - What’s the thoughts as to what’s happen here if Sealion was sanctioned by RKH/Navitas…? Fwiw I think BOR share price would easily double from wherever it was

Interest is definitely growing here. All the light oil and liquid gas has not gone unnoticed. Eye's watching and moves being made. Either a sale or takeout of the whole company, or the fabled farmin with a big oil company looking to secure future reserves/production. Either way, it means £££££ for BOR.

Creeping up slowly - without any further holding RNS so that bodes well that its rising under its own steam.

If and when any positive news breaks a higher starting point/base for the share price can only benefit any (multiple) rise - or if any holding RNS is issued it also would be positive to know a buyer is there at higher prices.

Edit 10:44am: somebody want the shares - 5.13p actual bid for 100k shares - indicating bid was 4.87p
