I think BOO rose with ASOS but I can't see the latter staying up, especially as short interest increased with two funds at the end of last year.

Great numbers bull. Well done and I hope you co to use to do those numbers.I want to get into day trading at some point. I've done a fair bit of reading about it but there are two things holding me back at the moment. First is having the time to dedicate to it properly. To be successful you seem to have to do it full time, not dip in and out. Second, i can't quite get my head around what the right strategy is or what my edge would be. And advice? What strategies do you use?

Worth a punt doesn't cost anything Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of payment cards that were designed in the 1950s. The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Fair play Viiarich.

I day trade and am up 38.99% on my starting capital this year, although last year I finished 41.91% on that pot.

One day I will have a portfolio but until I venture down that route it's day trading for me.

Since doing this full time I am up 7.615 times my initial starting capital but due to actually pulling a wage from the markets, I don't have that actual amount, shame really!

I've held all year here Bull, so I'm 13% down year on year but still 450% up on initial investment. Overall portfolio in a similar position after the tech wreck and AIM sell off. I rebalanced my portfolio at the end of October into defensives and some shorts and am actually up 2% on that period. So will be sitting right and waiting for the turn before rebalancing back into higher risk stuff.
