Villa, 100% with you on the meltdown to come. Europe is also in complete denial about the debts racked up between countries, slowly dragging Germany and France down. If we leave without a deal then the Euro will collapse within 12 months as it will expose all the corruption going on between Euro countries. UK can either capitulate and keep the charade going for another decade or get the F out and fend for itself. Either way a massive market reset is inevitable.BTW I am feeling rather smug about hitting the low point yesterday and adding to my large BOO stake!

I never said Armageddon, I said a turn in the markets, and a bear market. Simple market cycles mate. We're coming to the end of this one, there'll be a correction then we'll be back to a bull market again. I'm still happy to hold my shares here. But the lack of wider market awareness from you and Yopf is staggering.

I think you're naive to ignore all the warning signs pointing to the potential that we're moving towards a market correction. The FTSE is down nearly 10% on the year. House prices are starting to fall, personal debt is higher than in 2008 and so is global debt. Trump has already said he doesn't care about the US national debt as "he won't be around when it becomes an issue" (his actual words). And we all know what happens when the US national debt gets too big...I personally think the chances of us having a full blown meltdown in the next 18 months are at least 60%.

Looks like the general markets should be green today.

I think the bears have conned themselves and each other into thinking the markets have capitulated but some are saying that these levels present a huge buying opportunity for some equities.

Loving all the guesses on price chaps, with no facts to back up any of these guesses, only exposes you all as inexperienced investors, of course with a range given of £1.60 to £2.50 one of you will be right ...lol

Because I've owned them since they were 34p and I've got no reason to sell them. These ups and down don't matter to me. When the fundamentals change, I'll sell.

It was this price less than 3 months ago. With better than expected results in January it could be back there.So is there really no way? Of course there is. What a naive thing to say Losses - I thought you had more experience than to spout such nonsense!But it could easily go the other way with poor Xmas sales and bad press. My point is anything is possible and only those in for the long haul can relax and rely on a good solid business to make it happen.The lack of any declared shorts from the previous 250 high tells me the market has confidence in BOO.

At the end of the day none of us have a clue where this is going in the short term. Maybe 150, maybe 250! Long term however we all believe BOO has the right business strategy and will grow and grow over the next 5 years.By then we will have long forgotten about BREXIT and Trump / China and I will be paying off my mortgage with the profits!

I think you'll be waiting 2 years, possibly 6 for the US markets to settle. And the free fall in BOO isn't over just because you're fully invested again. If the FTSE keeps falling then this will too.
