We have disagreed many times over the years but I agree with you on this one .
FCA will not go after him unless one of the large institution's go after him and I’m not sure now with accounts signed off by large accounting firms he used they would not have the stomach to go back .

For sure in the accounts a couple of years running he had personal loans made to him and signed off by fellow directors in a share trading public company which was written off by introducing performance led bonuses.
Just unreal !!!!!

Lots of us notified the F C A years ago nothing was done watching the panorama programme 2 weeks ago you can see why they were not fit for person the guy who was in charge was useless what did they do instead of sacking him he was made governor of the bank of England its beyond belief you can see why the country is in such a mess that's why I have joined the reform party

Charles, I'm not sure any deal will take place, however I'm unsure why there has been any announcement, none of it makes any sense to me, including how Mercer has got away with it. I've written off my investment years ago, so if anything is forthcoming it's a bonus.

HMRC form Post Transaction valuation checks for capital gains - Section 9 I made reference to shares being suspended from AIM on 4.9.2017 stated I have been unable to trade since and put in a nil value.
Attached BNN filed company accounts and share dealing account statement showing nil valuation

I have submitted a negligible value claim in March. My Accountant will record it as a capital loss on my tax return to be submitted in the next couple of months. Then wait to see what response there is from HMRC.

No, I did it mostly on recommendation from a friend. I knew something of Mercer’s past but that was overridden by what I thought was a an opportunity to quickly triple my money. Took a punt. I should’ve cut losses when it was still tradable. I didn’t and now all I will salvage is a capital loss to carry forward. It’s bad…..but it’s not the end of the world.

Winding up order submitted again. Why aren't our directors submitting our accounts?
Reported BNN to the SFO but after about 4 months the came back to me with the statement that it didn't come under their remit, and I should perhaps try Action Fraud. Have anyone else tried either of these, and what was the response?

Did you not do any due diligence before investing 6 figures ?

Did you not realise that Mercer is a crook ?

he has history.

I wouldn't put a bean in any company he was involved with.

When you realised it looked dodgy why didn't you sell ?

I’ve taken steps to record 6 figure losses on my tax return. Whole thing has been a painful lesson for me. I thought it looked dodgy from when I invested in 2016, should have trusted my gut instinct, got carried away.

You can’t sell something that doesn’t exist. BNN is being struck off the Companies Register. Even a single person company files it’s mandatory papers. BNN is meant to have a new director? There is no company. All been a sham. Jail is too good for Mercer.

Not sure Alzy, but they have trying to achieve shareholder value for about 4 years now, and have not filed any accounts at Companies House for the last 2. Its certainly, to say the least, a funny old set up at here.
