Yes and we ignored you then and continue to do so.Perhaps you could switch your attention to Alba - I am sure you could assist with their permafrost and environmental (walrus) issues

I suggested as early as Q2-2019 that Dundas Titanium should have only a pre-separation plant at Moriusauq working each field season with the main MSP running all the year at Sisimiut to better serve the fragmented but more remunerative spot-market in W-Europe and USA. This will derisk the Greenland operations from cyclical snow and ice conditions in Steensby land.

No thanks.
Everyone who has followed this for any length of time knows that mining at Dundas can take place all year round; the thickness of the ice cap is irrelevant. The only potential hindrance would be if the shipping window reduced. This year the Arctic sea ice hasn't retreated quite as far as it did last year, or in 2012, but it is still way in excess of the long term median, the interquartile range and the interdecile range.

The reason Alba are doing nothing there is that they have no money.

Edit: you beat me to it Longrod.

Humour.

Save it for the tabloids Johny boy.

Stating that Alba could be the next newcrest clearly marks you as a clown.

better still, there is time to lodge your comments in the stakeholder process.

Alba are gone from Greenland because they have blown all their shareholders funds.

Led by the chief.

Time will tell, always does.

this share will never succeed due to the hostile enviroment..already the snow has returned one month early and freezing temperatures..thats why Alba have decided to proceed with their north wales clogau mine instead of Greenland play...sorry but this share in Greenland is dead in the water or should i say ice...

Tanbreez have just been granted an exploitation permit after many years of trying. They are a private company and I'm therefore unable to trace the exact timelines involved through RNSs or equivalent, but they completed a feasibility study in 2012 and submitted a revised exploitation application in 2016. Progress can be a lot slower than ours!

luffnes,

I have nothing to with anything other than semi-weathered ilmenite (<48%TiO2) and its conversion tn HiTiSlag.

Had to read the RNS again BBB after you posted that and yes it related to extension of licence area not time. Text below is indicating it is to extend the licence area and as you say, looks like they have found further promising areas from work already done so want to secure the land area. If you go to Figure 1 in the PDF version of the RNS you can see the 4 extension areas highlighted, although the 1 area to the East is noticeably separate to the main licence area. All sounds good at this early stage of exploration and shows them fine tuning the licence area already to cover the best prospects.

Bluejay has applied to the MLSA for an extension of MEL 2020/03 to acquire additional ground surrounding the gold anomalies at Tasersuaq. Bluejay’s licence extension application also incorporates an additional cluster of gold anomalies alteration halos of ankerite and fuchsite are known to occur close to the contact between around Tasiussaq (refer to Figure 2), located approximately 15 km east of the town of Nanortalik. Here auriferous quartz veins with metavolcanics and metasediments of the Psammite Zone. Bluejay’s stream sediment data for gold and associated pathfinder elements indicate that the gold mineralisation at Tasiussaq may be more extensive than previously recognised.

I too interpret it that way; Disko/Kangerluarsuk is too difficult to arrange this year, so let's get something else useful done.

I'm slightly puzzled by the application for an 'extension' to both licences. As I understand it licences are for a fixed period, 5 years for a standard one and 3 years for special licence (we have one of each). Does he actually mean 'expansion'?

From the RNS in April announcing Thunderstone it is apparent that Bluejay originally applied for a larger area, but subsequently reduced it. Now are they asking to increase it again? If so they must have identified good reason to do so from their preliminary studies, or why increase exploration costs. MLSA portal confirms that both licences are 'under review'.

Not at all, Dundas is number 1 near term commercial development target and continues to be, looking forward to Oct/Nov time for Dundas with field construction expected as soon as it can be commenced in 2021. This is the very first initial field based work to start off any exploration project in this case Thunderstone and looks like with Covid restrictions, the only thing JAY can get done this 2020 summer season, but still requiring Bluejay's field crew to be permanently based on-board a boat even to do this field sampling work, thus "reducing interaction with local communities to further minimise the risk of COVID-19 infection" to quote. AEX Gold
also announced on the 23rd June they had been given special authorisation to commence field work on their prospect but purely on a fully isolated team basis as well. This seams the only way any field work is being permitted in Greenland right now. On the subject of anybody going to Dundas this year, there was a question raised at the AGM for "Do you have any idea yet when you might possibly get into production at Dundas?" From the answer stated it is clear JAY are restricted on what they can do with the still in place Covid restrictions, so while it is not a complicated project to implement, the practicality of doing anything right now is a real challenge. So the fact they have managed to get something done on the ground this year at Thunderstone with Covid restrictions is an achievement.

Interesting thing I find about Thunderstone is its variety of potential minerals, gold certainly yes but also zinc (± lead-copper-silver) and nickel-copper-PGE as well. Long way to go yet and they need to narrow down from sampling and survey/analysis results to the best targets discounting those less favourable on the way. This may well take 2 seasons to complete so maiden drilling for the Thunderstone Project area likely to be 2022 I would say.

So as I see it, JAYs current priority is:

1. Dundas commercialisation and construction - 2021 & 2022, first off-take shipment F/C Q3 2022
2. Kangerluarsuk and Disko-Nuussuaq - rescheduled maiden drilling - 2021, expect partner earn-in/JV - 2020/21
3. Thunderstone Project - Field exploration & Analysis - 2020 & 2021, Maiden drilling - 2022
4. Finland copper, zinc and nickel projects - partner earn-in/JV maybe later in 2020 (my guess)

If you consider my recent post to be so appealing, why dont you walk across to Swallow St and ping RM face-to-face? You are so close to the RO; i.e. if you can scapeup an appointment with His Lordship!

I like your post this morning. Why cant RM give the DUNDAS managers some freedom with field operations while the PH goes on? They raised money for the initial moves during FS20 and we have almost missing the year!

LoL!

Well JAY have been doing great job at cost managing their prospects outside of Dundas using "free resources" e.g. university students when possible to assist field work. They haven't charged into extensive drilling programmes yet and with the one announced in 2019 that was the basis of the last placing to raise funds to cover maiden drilling programmes on top of general company funds. JAY are also looking for partners for joint development (and so funding) for all bar one of their additional exploration prospects.

Now JAY could throw away the MELs for all these other prospects and focus on Dundas only but that is a very narrow minded approach and ultimately not be in the best interest of shareholders (who wants to throw away Disko for example). Take lowest cost route to maintain them yes and don't go mad acquiring too many MELs, but in the land grab game in Greenland right now, you need to take control of what you feel are your most highly prospective targets and that is what JAY has done.
