29/5/2018 09:42 | Of course Rampair, just passing the time away with a little bit of verbal playfulness. I think I need to be back at work..... | shutittrev
29/5/2018 09:23 | Shutittrev- I simply meant that I’d rather a broken timepiece than an economic forecast from certain quarters! RMcilree holds 95m shares, one or two more than me! I trust his judgement to get this to where it needs to go without massively diluting existing shareholders. We are in the business of entering the 2018 field season. All the Equipment is paid for, including the Excavators & ‘dozers. We have £15m in cash - the company has performed very well, using little along the way. I don’t think that strategy is about to change! We will need some Mine funding in the future as all the miners will need to eat and sleep, but at the same time - this will be investing for a revenue stream - that’s in the future though. 29/5/2018 08:56 | I think that rampair may have been referring to the perceived value of £1 billion | snowyflake
29/5/2018 08:37 | Interesting turn of phrase Rampair. Are you suggesting that such an unreliable source could actually be correct for once? | shutittrev
28/5/2018 21:59 | A stopped clock is right twice a day,I’d suggest it was more useful too. R. | rampair
28/5/2018 20:35 | Jennings is spouting his usual tripe again. Align Research (@AlignResearch) 28/05/2018, 14:48 Weekend press comment out re a £57m raise planned for Bluejay #JAY. Would expect instis to exact a sizeable discount to current share price IF they get a raise of that size away. Big if too. pressreader.com/uk/t | citytilidie
27/5/2018 14:21 | I hope Mike Walters doesn’t mind me reproducing part of his post today on his site in order to provide clarity to fellow JAY holders : “I have spoken to Rod McIllree, Bluejay chief executive, today (Sunday). He says - and I quote - 'There is no fund-raising coming.' Well worth the modest yearly subscription if just to follow Bluejay imho | monts12
27/5/2018 14:14 | It does seem a very strange article to come out with, especially if there is no truth in it. I'm not sure why JAY would need that much yet especially as we haven't even applied for and received the exploitation licence yet. I could understand this article if it were six months from here, but not now. | citytilidie
27/5/2018 11:58 | I believe that the editor Harriet Dennis is ill advised. Such news would go with much more information and not just "The project financing will be used to start extracting ilmenite" Yeah right! So, best for all to continue to enjoy a lovely day with temperatures nearing 30. Cheer, MM | moreminer
27/5/2018 11:06 | I tried to post the link but couldn't make it work. You can find the article just by googling Mail on Sunday Bluejay. This has presumably been leaked to the MoS, or they've got it wrong. Either way there will no doubt be a RNS tomorrow morning. | bigboyblue
27/5/2018 10:43 | doubt it very much. reads to me like the article has it wrong. | longrod
27/5/2018 10:26 | To any of our learned regulars on this bulletin board any guesses at what Price? | adamstip
27/5/2018 08:50 | Morning all. Sorry no good at cut and pasting on my mobile phone, article in the Mail about Ian Hannan raising £57 million for BLUEJAY. | adamstip
25/5/2018 10:53 | Yes, littlealbatross. I remember one of Mike's first write ups on Bluejay(then Finnaust). He does like his higher risk, high reward stocks and he said if ever you were going to have a gamble on a share, this is the one. That remark has stuck with me ever since he said it around October 2016, if memory serves me correctly and it appears that given a little more patience, Bluejay will be officially the only game in town. Hence why all the FAMily silver is on. Good luck. | shutittrev
25/5/2018 10:29 | trev Yes, an interesting update by Mike Walters raising the possibilities of a bid for the Dundas ilmenite, the spin off and developement of Disko which McIllree et al seem to rate very very highly and also the activity of McIllree-inspired Greenland Oil and Gas which might come to market sometime down the track. Our Rod seems to have a lot of fingers in a lot of pies. | littlealbatross2
25/5/2018 02:13 | Forgot to mention. Another very bullish and detailed update by Mike Walters. He tipped these at 7p.(Www.michaelwalte | shutittrev
25/5/2018 01:50 | Cum grano salis. | shutittrev
24/5/2018 18:12 | wrong shutittrev stultus es sicut et nos Have a nice evening. Test match not going too well. | snowyflake
24/5/2018 16:35 | Rampair and Snowyflake. The 'sine qua non' of this this thread. Just saying like. | shutittrev
24/5/2018 14:53 | rampair - if you look at the Mineral Deposits website under investor centre you will come to the 2017 annual report released 21st February. I have not studied it in detail but it looks as if Eramet JVd with them some years ago to help turn around the MDL fortunes. MDL have recently gone cash positive and Eramet have seized the opportunity to pounce. The scenario has imo similarities with Pala investing in Sierra Rutile, helping SRX turn around the fortunes of SRX, then increasing its stake and then pouncing with an offer after Pala had well over 50% of SRX which offerwas accepted by the SRX board but complained about by other shareholders because the offer was so low. As far as I can see MDL do not now have debt which SRX did have (having built the Gangama mine). I can see why the MDL board are saying that the offer is unwelcome. What Rod and his team have done is tremendous when JAY has done it without support from the likes of Pala or Eramet and without debt. JAY is in a friendly jurisdiction, has the support of the government by the looks of it and whilst it may have the problem of ice in the winter, if Norilsk can prosper in Siberia, there is no reason why JAY should not do so in Greenland. Investors have a good investment and do not forget Disko etc are to come. | snowyflake
24/5/2018 14:25 | This document is a “Target Statement” these are issued by companies facing an off market/ non discussed bid. Basically it’s the corporate equivalent of “You are offering X? (In this case A$1.46) so, in 200 odd pages they appear to reject comprehensively this advance. - it shows that market price doesn’t reflect real world value - Dundas,is, I believe starting to have an effect once these companies realise that we are an Elephant, a huge deposit & going for even more at Itelak.Plus, starting to build , they are seeing that Bluejay is good for it’s word - it’s getting quite exciting! R. | rampair
24/5/2018 10:29 | very interested in all this corporate action- we seem to be in the right place. Working my way through the Mineral Deposits rejection of the Eramet offer. The ilmenite/ TiO2 market is bouyant... Good for JAY holders. Clear that just because the share price is 1price doesn’t always represent fair value. R | rampair |
