For me the key dates are the field season which is end June until October and that the exploitation licence application is due to be submitted at the end of the field season.

Given the desire of the Greenland government to move towards independence from Denmark which in turn means increasing revenues into the government's coffers I would not be surprised to see consideration of the application expedited. The government in my view would like to see production, shipping of product and revenues as soon as possible so that the government earns royalties and tax.

Rampair,

Thanks and very true.
All those Big Boys Toys are there ready for use.
We seem to be marching forward and the Heavy Gold is nearing fruitation.
I love picking ripe fruit.

Disko, this is what McIllree has stated.

“In tandem with our highly active development and expansion programme at Dundas, we will also be setting our sights on translating historical exploration achievements at our Disko-Nuussuaq Magmatic Massive Sulphide (‘MMS’) Nickel-Copper-Platinum Project in Greenland into significant new verifiable discoveries. We have seven historically identified significant MMS targets at our newly enlarged Disko licence area, with the largest being 5.9km long by 1.1km wide. We look forward to updating shareholders separately on these work programmes in due course. We are confident that Disko could be among the great MMS systems of the world.”

This is on top of the Ilmenite project.

• Resource expansion at Dundas:
o Iterlak is the primary focus with plans to significantly increase resources there – based on internal estimates, the Company plans to define resources in excess of 100Mt
o Shallow Marine – An assessment for potential measurable mineralisation is due from SRK Exploration Services Ltd (‘SRK’) in H2 2018
• Finalising licencing applications:
o Environmental Impact Assessment (‘EIA’) & Social Impact Assessment (‘SIA’) are ongoing but await finalisation of the mine plan, which is being designed in the forthcoming Preliminary Feasibility Study (‘PFS’) and is expected shortly
o Exploitation licence application due to be submitted at the end of this field season, following completion of the EIA and SIA
• Customer Acceptance programmes continue to progress well – additional parties to receive samples
• A mining fleet has been purchased to commence Civil Engineering works:
o Complete the 2018 bulk sampling programme
o Build the ROM (run-of-mine) pad
o Stockpile high grade material
o Commence earth works around the planned plant and port site
• Disko-Nuussuaq: 2018 exploration programme to refine targets further in expanded licence area
• Cash balance of >£15m

Taking a Mining fleet up to your site is a big deal that 95% of junior miners never reach.
I would have thought that with the company mobilising a load of diggers and sifting machinery would be a good thing, without very good relationships with the Government
of Greenland I doubt this would be allowed.
They are getting 5000ton samples ready for customers, as a client they will buy what is there- most Heavy Mineral sand mines work on 1 to 3% Ilmenite- according to Table 1
in the PDF released today, We are looking at simply separating the material from 2mm
to 63microns (by sieving) and getting mid 20’s% pure Ilmenite.

I really struggle to see how actually building up a project into a mine which has
the highest grades in the World is a disappointment! Perhaps this makes it easier:

5 tons of Ilmenite currently sell for $1250

1 ounce of Gold currently is worth $1250 ish.

Shall we just start to call it heavy gold? And we are going for another 100m ton Target this summer - that makes me happy.

R.

Thanks for the response, all be it that you reiterate what we all know! its a funny old game this, its almost like the Market had briefly forgotten where we are at just now but when it was reinforced with a good solid statement as to where we are at and where we are going it only read the negative parts.

to be fair there are no feet dragging or stalling going on it is progressing as promised so yes lets be patient and watch this grow as it should slow and solid.

Bigchap,

Indeed. The market is bored by the news.
As Gersimi said, off takes and more progress on EIA, SIA and PFS would be appreciated.

By now we own a zillion tonnes of the ilmenite, but when can we monatize it?

So again we are asked to be patient. (and as you know, that is not always easy!)

Very informative providing yet more potential for the future of the mine. I wonder if the Germans built the "Mobile Stacking Unit" (You will know what I mean when you see it)

Offtakes required -

We have the resource at Dundas - now we need contracted sales or confirmation that what we have at Dundas is good enough to be turned into customer sales....

At least today's news is not negative news and that can only be a good thing

Very pleasing to see such a comprehensive update; clearly a lot happening over the next 4-5 months. Interesting also to see how confident the company is about the quality and quantity at Interlak. Seems they feel SRK have under-egged the pudding (or the potential of the pudding) in their recent report.

Unlikely until after the major derisking items are cleared - EIA, SIA and exploitation licence. Nothing required now except patience...

Perhaps Dyson should be contracted to develop a gigantic hoover to collect and transport all ilmenite direct to the clients in Europe and/ or USA.
That can work 24/7/365.

MDL have Advised shareholders to Reject Eramets offer on the Asx. On MDL's website they give their reasons and it's well worth a read.

Yes it’s true the central ice cap is kilometres thick in places, an incredible environment- I would love to visit, I don’t think the project will have trouble attracting the Senior Geologists and Engineering staff it will need, local staff can be trained and a lot of younger people are educated to a high standard.
Climates ebb and flow and at present the ice has pulled back up to 100km from the coast in places -
It’s pretty empty, but that leaves lots of interesting Minerals that have already
been gobbled up in developed countries!
