Well a buoyant share price certainly helps in the absence of news.I assume the programme for this season should be outlined to us investors soon, think they gave that info out last May.To my eyes everything seems to have slipped about a year but what the hell.

Sometimes, things happen that perhaps weren't planned for. If it were a delay for bad reasons then I would be a little more concerned. On this occasion however, it sounds as though the slight delay may be due to positive reasons and should therefore be good for us all in the medium to long term. As someone who has held these for roughly 3 years, an extra 2 months is neither here nor there. If you are not prepared to give shares a decent chance to perform then perhaps you shouldn't be trading. In the meantime.....chill.... and enjoy the weather

I think those requesting news are quite in their right to. IMO, if a company can't stick to their promises, then they shouldn't make them. Or at least change their wording to something less definite.

Given how well respected the CEO is, it doesn't do him any good to make promises that have now been shown to be optimistic. For those of us that haven't been invested here long, one of our first take home experiences is of a broken promise.

Yes, Herman Hermits were not my favorite either, merely a relic from the past.

And yes, I do think that something good is brewing but also yes, timelines and promises about up-dates and such have been broken quite frequent.
But that is my non-zen opinion.

In the mean time it seems summer out here. We will get to see temps above 27 centigrade today.
Perhaps I will follow Snowy's (are you melting yet?) advice and put a flower in my hair.

Exploitation licence is contingent on a successful EIA being agreed. Terms of Reference and public consultation for EIA required 2018 field season studies of cetaceans to complete the EIA. So all of that is months away. JORC compliant resource statement from 2017 field season is not dependant on any of the above.

It's frustrating when as recently as the investors evening in March Rod was saying the JORC report would be in Q1. It doesn't bode well for exploitation licence in early 2019 with production starting that year. However, clearly Rod talks to SRK and he knows what is/will be in their final report. I don't think any of us believes that the report will say "sorry, there isn't that much ilmenite after all". The delay is going to be for other reasons about which we can speculate but that doesn't really help much (Disko spin off, securing best deal with offtake partners, negotiations with Greenland authorities etc). On balance think we have to let the man get on with it. Personally I preferred the Rolling Stones, the Pretty Things and the Small Faces, but I do remember another Hermans Hermits song: "I'm into something good"

Don't know about Zen though, although I did visit Bangkok once when working.

Hello Snowyflake, not everyone is in the zen state and can wait that patiently!
I recall that last August we were told we would receive news on the Disko project soon.
I will not look up the meaning of the word soon today.
Maybe tomorrow. Maybe not.
