Well, likely quite soon we all (large holders) can say;

I love the smell of Ilmenite in the morning.

Then take the girl into town for shopping and she will taste better, thats my guess.

Maybe macca can put a stop to the persistent selling everyone we get to mid 25p. Frustrating that we are being “held” back! Or so it seems.

Yes MM the sap is rising in the trees, flowers are everywhere & the birds are hunting each other,
I believe that Ilmenite remains on the Beach.

Haven't posted on this board before and not a frequent poster on Advfn either. I wanted to buy these at 7p (Finnaust) in February 2017 unfortunately the wifey wouldn't sanction after previous heavy losses I had incurred during the 2008 crash. I finally convinced her and got the green light to invest. Late to the party but feel confident of Macca's £1 price target. By the way I think this was recommended to me by Macca @7p from a chance encounter when he was helping a friend purchase some items in Enfield on the A10. Or someone heavily in bluejay/Finnaust. was it you Macca?

I like the Jennings logic - my home is only about 9 miles from Mayfair so I am think of pushing the price up to Mayfair levels. What could go wrong?

He has indeed shown commitment & complete support to this project.I must say, I’m welling up :-)sunk up to his snowballs.

If I could make a comment on JORC, clearly this is intended to standardise Resource
calculation, (Equally with the Canadian NI standard)
there was a need to make a set of rules to make sure that all indicated, inferred & Reserves were of the same description.
It’s only as life goes on you realise that - well, not all those Describing are the same.
To cover a set of drill logs, reverse circulation bagging etc plus the all important
Discovery, the Company Geologist is ideal in this role.

To get a World class discovery and project off the ground you really have to choose carefully-

if you go into offtake or Financing talks armed with a piece of paper
drawn up by the company Geo -
with great respect to people who are Geologists, it’s far more likely that if one of the big independent study groups such as SRK has drawn up the report - Human nature being what it is, your report will be taken differently.

The big companies use the big study groups. If Tronox, or a Chinese group see an SRK report, they know it’s independent and, you have enough faith in your asset to pay the big fees that a study costs. It can also be used in Feasability studies when approaching capital.

Now, consider a small mining company - let’s be fair and not give a real name..say
Frappechino Mining Corp.- they have a company Geologist who has been to college & has the requisite qualifications she/or He could be out in the field doing their report perfectly well, finish that and bring it back home, knowing the company was small, and with a lot riding on getting a decent number in. The report could be spot on accurate.

However, Human nature creeps in to the mind of the potential partner, it’s natural
- this is why small companies like ours need to use the same, Independent companies that our potential partners use.

Go to Glencore with an SRK report showing that you have a huge amount of high grade
Minerals and they let you in with open arms.

Go to Glencore with Dr Rampairs report and they go “who the heck is that!”

So, we have paid for our big report on our enormous mountain of Ilmenite and we get our JORC when it’s ready, they have said it will be soon. Quality is worth waiting for.

Doesn’t stop us wishing though!

R.

If any Alba shareholder is reading this, I let Richard Boy (alias Align) look after my money a couple of years ago on a discretionary basis. He lost £14,000 (70%) of it in just 6 short weeks before I pulled the plug and asked him to return what was left. He is not always right by any means , so be very careful when it comes to following his advice. It's no surprise Alba have fallen since they were tipped at the weekend. It was a perfect pump and dump opportunity

andinvestor1 - most of the posters on this thread have stories to tell about the market; from those who have been mislead by manipulative ceos, to those who have been manipulated by share spivs and those who have been affected by fraud perpetrated by directors of AIM companies.

There is precious little protection from the AIM regulators or the FCA.

Like others I have lost money in stocks but have also made money from stocks.

Whilst I do not believe that you are an investor in JAY, I do not mind you having a general moan on this thread but if you are attracted by the assets and management of JAY, I can tell you that I believe in the assets that the company has and I believe in and trust the management. I first invested in the stock at 5 pence

As far as Align and in particular Richard Jennings aka richie 666 is concerned, I do not follow it/him. I do sometimes come across him by chance.

"By chance" has included him bashing FinnAust in 2016 when he was rumoured to have shorted the stock. He made a great play both on Align's blog, on this thread and on LSE that the shares were only worth 2 pence when they were trading at 7 pence.

He was so very wrong then, just as he was wrong when he again bashed the management in 2017 when, as I recall, the stock was trading at 12 pence.

On each occasion I argued against him but I worried that his so incorrect judgment might have led to some investors to sell their stock or frighten would be investors away from investing in the stock. The net effect would have been to cost those investors or would be investors varying sums of money if they followed his "advice".

In the meantime several institutional investors, that is those that look after millions of pounds on behalf of general funds for the public, unions and pension investors, have taken the decision to put a great deal of money behind the assets and management of Bluejay as it is now called.

But despite that here we have Jennings repeating his bashing of Bluejay for the third time but this time promoting Alba because Alba have a licence 9 kilometres away from Bluejay's Dundas project without imo any detailed analysis on his part.

As it happens, since his Aprils Fools Day blog the Alba stock price has come back and the Bluejay stock price increase.

I am not an Alba shareholder and on the current evidence will not become an Alba shareholder. I am a Bluejay holder and have no intention of selling any of my shares in Bluejay unless I have financial reasons to do so which I cannot satisfy elsewhere.

Please follow your own advice and experience andinvestor1; I would not dream of attempting to dissuade you.

For my part, through my experience of Jennings with Bluejay, I personally regard him as someone whose opinions I cannot and could not rely on.
