It doesn't make private investors right does it though Luckykids.
April 16. Share price 4p
April 17. Share price 14p
April 18. Share price 24p
Definite trend upwards plus key institutions are piling in.

If private investors had any sense they would be keeping shares on an uptrend like that and selling the dogs that have trended sideways or downwards for years. That's generally why they get it wrong more that they get it right

Another article on the election results, this one suggesting a definite shift in favour of mining in that the third party (Demokraterne) has almost doubled its vote. This party is the most pro mining and if it forms part of the coalition with Siumut should bode well. hxxps://www.usnews.com/news/world/articles/2018-04-25/greenland-pm-kim-kielsens-party-wins-election-but-loses-ground

I wonder if Denmark's EKF (Export Credit Agency) is offering Bluejay export credit grants to secure further financing for Dundas? I don't believe Denmark would want to see Greenland secure its independence. I am sure the US with its military base views Chinese expansionism into Greenland with real concern and we know Denmark desires to maintain good relations with a close ally like the USA. With this in mind I suspect the Greenland government is playing the Danes off against the Chinese to secure export credit funding

Of course independence would mean losing access to this type of funding from both the Danes and the EU (just a moment while I vomit, that's better)

-

From May 2017 -

'Yet another initiative with great untapped potential is Greenland’s access to additional sources of financing. In collaboration with the Government, Greenlandic companies have now been granted access to financing from EKF, Denmark’s official export credit agency; the Danish Growth Fund, which is the Danish state’s investment fund; the NIB and the EIB.

The Danish Growth Fund has already engaged in financing trade and industry ventures in Greenland; partly in isolation and partly together with Greenland Venture and the banks. The CEO of the Danish Growth Fund has stated that the Fund’s strategy is to ultimately play the same role in Greenland as it does in Denmark. He indicated three main areas of particular potential: Tourism, Raw materials, Fisheries and fish processing.

In 2015, the Government of Greenland initiated talks with the European Investment Bank with a view to securing access to the EIB’s lending facilities for raw materials projects in Greenland. In Greenland, the EIB is now co-financing the Hudson Resources’ White Mountain mine project at Kangerlussuaq.

Similarly, in 2015, the Nordic Investment Bank set up a new Arctic lending facility of 500 million Euros to stimulate investment in the Arctic Region. The loans are primarily aimed at infrastructure projects, renewable energy projects and the like.

Thus, in the opinion of the Greenland Government, the recommendations of both the Taksøe Report and the joint report with the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs regarding access to new financing schemes, have been fulfilled through the significantly improved frameworks for investment now made available. Elections today in ye old Greenland though I doubt the status quo will in anyway be undermined which bodes well for mining companies

A yearning for independence is good news for natural resource companies

Should have read more like $1m per 5,000t batch, that would be equivalent to $200/tonne

Interesting to note the reference to 5,000 tonne trial batches to be done this season, and sounds like a number of them as well.Although I realise that the primary aim with these batches is not income, nevertheless it would be could to charge to show intent on the part of the customer and it all helps. £1m per 5,000t batch? There's a lot to take in from that interview, very positive.

Just a question.

I know about this one re the easy mining but how are they going to sort transportation, has it been covered.

The area is frozen over most of they year as is well known.

By what means do they intend to get the product onto ships. I have noted the shallow marine environment comment before and as I understand it's 20 metres deep 1km out.

I agree. Big, hard line under share price now.

Should consolidate for a bit and move off in my opinion, been wrong before though so don’t trade on my views!!

think this news is the required base that further releases can be based on.
It's a prerequisite, share price should take care of itself moving forwards.

So, we have a brokers target price of 45p raised from a previous 37p. The news today has done little to threaten the old guesstimate of 37p so how we get to 45p is a mystery. In previous posts there is reference to a large seller - why?
So we continue to wait for news on off-takes etc. with the hope that the share price might start to move forward on their arrival. Let's hope so. Although this news consolidates our position it's hardly been worth the build up of anticipation.
