04/4/2018 20:43 | I was a long suffering shareholder in ITM which started picking up around them getting involved and made a massive profit partly when they started saying sell and partly for other reasons. Other picks have been MYN, ZIOC and then PFP which was not so good. My advice is take their views and chuck it in the pot with everything else. Why not? For me I have had 3 great ones and 1 not so good (lost less on that than I made on each of the other 3). Best of luck to you. | andinvestor1
04/4/2018 19:27 | Today hurt. -5 Alba + 5 JAY Not sure what the rest of their calls are like with pathfinder (align calls EGM) and others too numerous to mention Orion.... etc etc Took a bath here clearly? Thes guys, with their shorts, actually push the price up. That’s irony!! | longrod
04/4/2018 18:03 | Every research company gets paid. However if they take their fee in stock and agree to hold for a period of time surely thats better than taking the cash? Look at their research for the last 12 months and see what their record is like for yourself. I think you may be pleasantly surprised! I trust them more than the traditional research companies, the majority of posts on boards and easily more than the “professional& | andinvestor1
04/4/2018 17:56 | even a stopped clock is right twice a day!! from my understanding, the management of companies who use align, pay in stock to richie boy & co. this can be very dangerous for potential investors, as you do not know if its align who are hitting your bid in the market. they need to disclose what they receive, the price they receive it, when they sell the shares and at what price. Richie's interest's are not aligned with investors... with respect to JAY, last year, he offered 500k to anyone at 12.5p or so...i called him out and said i would buy 250k of that the following day...richie, being richie did not take up my interest... | aravali
04/4/2018 17:45 | At the moment Align have called this wrong but they do offer some good research and its for everyone to add that to other research and decide what to do. Personally for me I am grateful that they publish their views for free and I have done well on some of their calls. | andinvestor1
04/4/2018 17:36 | What kind of ego would take a user name of "richieboy666" and, more importantly, how could anyone take them seriously ? | johnveals
04/4/2018 15:14 | You assume that he has some. I am not one. This is his third time bashing the FAMily as macca would have it. Has failed on each occasion. | snowyflake
04/4/2018 14:33 | Perfect timing once again for Richie Boy advising people to go short. How to wipe out your own clients again in one easy lesson...... Not for the first time either!! | citytilidie
04/4/2018 13:44 | Do you also smell it? The smell of fear! The shorters fear smell. Lovely. | moreminer
04/4/2018 13:37 | Looks more like shares purchased on market, an additional 0.4% of the company. the financial instrument in this instance refers to shares its the new way FCA regulated investment bodies report. Strange new world indeed | longrod
04/4/2018 13:27 | Citytilidie, that was exactly what came to mind! If I could give you two Green thumbs I would- strange old World! R. | rampair
04/4/2018 13:03 | They appear to have increased through financial instruments e.g. cfds | snowyflake
04/4/2018 12:12 | You'll have to help me out here but I don't see an increase in holdings from the RNS. There is an increase (quite small) in voting rights but the holdings don't show any change! Explanation anyone? | graham10k
04/4/2018 11:57 | Sandgrove have upped their holding a fraction. Do you ever get that feeling that something bigger is imminent? | citytilidie
04/4/2018 11:46 | 773k v 348k (19 v 11) 2 v 3 at touch looking quite buoyant considering the panicky wider market | gersemi
04/4/2018 08:02 | Density is the important bit I’d think, S.Herder | rampair
04/4/2018 07:57 | S_H is the sand wet or dry. lol | vauch
03/4/2018 23:19 | Rampair, is 55000 tons of coal heavier than 55000 tons of sand? :-D | sheep_herder
03/4/2018 22:04 | Displacement? Weight of ship has to displace more water weight to float.Thats how concrete barges work! Either way only 20 trips is a 1m ton haul. Working a minimum 5 months that’s only One a week. That shows the sort of Ilmenite we can shift. If you got it to one every day excluding weekends that’s a 5m ton operation. This is why Moriusaq/Iterlak could execute a 2026 business, at that level - with global growth in the Titanium powder/Metal market I think this explains quite a straightforward strategy, in which discounting back from these figures SPAngel getting a brilliant 43% internal rate of return. Discounted at a 10% cost of Capital. That is an entirely reasonable interest rate, for a relatively simple sand separation project. I think that sort of Debt would be an excellent Pension fund/ Ethical fund etc it’s non controversial. Cost of Capital. Stage 1 $60m up to 3m tons Stage 2 $100m 3m to 5.5m.tons. Now, we get to see what income that would bring - a job for our company as Ilmenite is sold on a deal basis. Note, this is not in any way a proper professional analysis! I could be completely wrong, also there are all sorts of Capital for reduced price ore deals. Etc. Food for thought perhaps? R. | rampair
03/4/2018 21:10 | Not sure where the 400,000t came from, it was wrong. | johnveals
03/4/2018 20:54 | Johnveals just looked here Panamax will take 55,000tons of coal.similar weight I guess to sand.Handymax is similar - 20 journeys = 1m tons, soon adds up. Also, are we going to dry the sand?, unlikely if dredged. Thanks for appreciating the posts everyone. Good to know, I pick up so much from others that expands my knowledge - it all helps us PI’s.. R. | rampair
03/4/2018 19:14 | rampair - great input, that makes calculating a rough valuation much easier. Thanks. | johnveals
03/4/2018 18:31 | I don't think a Panamax can take 400,000t, more like 40,000-50,000. | astralvision |
