further funding will be needed. However, I believe that rather than further diluting existing investors, the company will strike some kind of deal with future off take partners...perhaps accept a lower margin for an agreed term in return for payment of capex costs to build the facility?

monts, thanks. From what people have posted here regarding the lack of investment in mining ilmenite, I think I agree that a bigger company with a shortfall in future production would be very interested. However, given the ease at which this can be "mined", or scooped up, the barriers to entry are tiny compared to a more traditional mining set up. I guess that plays a positive role in the company being able to recognise a large markup on the sale of the whole project because thay can always walk away from lowball offers and be in full production in a short time.

Is that recent placing enough to get to full production with no further dilution? Edit: the placing RNS uses wording like "advancing Dundas towards production" and I can't work out if further funding is needed.

It's important to realise that the ilmenite-Tio2 market is highly cyclical. In 2 years time ilmenite feedstock prices may be lower than they are today. Dividends are not guaranteed

I agree it would be better to get to big production in a few years and receive some lovely dividends but I believe that it won't come to pass as there are too many hungry eyes on JAY's Dundas asset, which is sure to be gobbled up by a bigger company well before that stage.

So does anyone know what the preferred path for Rod would be? What did they do with the uranium project in terms of how far down the path they took it?

Do they want to get the license sealed and then sell the business or take it further towards production? The numbers involved sound juicy and without a huge amount of capex to set the project up, isn't this one that could run and run?

If we're only 2 years away from serious production at somewhere near $100/tonne, isn't that better than a sale of the company in 2018/2019?

I would have to get permission from the major shareholder in my family i.e. the boss.

I wonder whether Mr Jennings has joined the illustrious company of Bluejay's institutional investors.

Capital Intl.. one of the biggest global funds.
The PM who invested runs a $trillion dollar fund.
loves a bit of small cap fun.. and knows a winning mngt team and asset to back.
They were already invested from the last placing.. but up'd his stake this round.

When rocket Rod is talking to the Greenland govt officials.. he can show he's backed by two of the biggest asset mangagers.

tick tick tick

nearly BOOM

Fluck me!

I added some more this morning.

I note the term 'high grade' and I immediately think of added value and decent margins for someone along the supply chain - that makes me drool

o A priority mining area resource statement due in coming weeks, feeding into the mining study. Complete mineral resources estimate expected Q2 2018

It could be any time and not specifically suggesting the end of this week....however nothing to worry about as when it comes it will offer no surprises (negative that is!!)
