12/2/2018 19:58 | o A priority mining area resource statement due in coming weeks, feeding into the mining study. Complete mineral resources estimate expected Q2 2018 It could be any time and not specifically suggesting the end of this week....however nothing to worry about as when it comes it will offer no surprises (negative that is!!) | slimchops
12/2/2018 17:06 | Minder/ Snowyflake, Yes, it says within two weeks. So end of this week. In principle. Que sera sera................ | moreminer
12/2/2018 16:10 | Hi squiresquire. Apologies for the tardiness of my reply and the off topic nature. Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of flying into Phonsavan. I think Laos airlines fly there from Vientiane. To be honest , I was hoping that you'd visited and if you would have recommended it therefore validating the awkwardness of getting there. Hopefully, I'll find out for myself sometime this year. Cheers. | shutittrev
12/2/2018 16:09 | minder/moreminer As I read the RNS dated 09.02.18 one looks to item 3 marked with a "o" It will be when it will be and I am not worried about exactly when a JORC is announced. | snowyflake
12/2/2018 16:07 | Gersemi: re your 2468 on the Interlak Delta. Absolutely agree that this looks good. Not just onshore and upstream but in the inter-tidal zone too. Have a look at the GEUS offshore mapping report in the following link, with reference to Figs 15 and especially Fig 19. It looks like the potential resource thickness there could be over 20 meters in depth. Bonanza! | shavian
12/2/2018 15:28 | shuttit I posted a reply to your laos query a couple of days ago, just click back | squiresquire
12/2/2018 15:02 | Moreminer do you have a source for the JORC being due this week? I had it that the resource update would be similar to last year and be issued in April. | minder5
12/2/2018 14:24 | wondering if these will breakout. | cryptotrade
12/2/2018 12:05 | Presto77 The JORC is due this week. Lets hope we can keep it within that timeframe. MM | moreminer
12/2/2018 10:09 | JAY ably demonstrates how aim resources shares can transform from basket case to rising star. And no doubt back again in some cases. Let's hope not here! | buoycat
12/2/2018 08:59 | gersemi - please do not think that I was being critical. Indeed the Hannam note which you posted yesterday is something which I had not seen before. Whilst you must do your own research I personally do not think that you have erred in deciding to invest in the Jay. | snowyflake
12/2/2018 08:15 | Yes, too much posting from me. It's almost as if I am trying to convince myself that I've made the right decision by buying shares in JAY. Like an author committing his thoughts to paper before they evaporate No more from me unless the news is new G | gersemi
12/2/2018 08:08 | gersemi - you boarded the train a bit after many on here (no criticism intended). Rampair used a word homogeneous in his post 2477. That word to describe the Dundas sands/ilmenite is so very important. I add the word purity. | snowyflake
12/2/2018 08:07 | Morning guv.....looking forward to our FAM night out..top notch grub, fine wines and hopefully, topless waitress service. Just joking like......about the last bit. | shutittrev
12/2/2018 07:56 | I sold MARL far too soon. They held part ownership of a high grade gold discovery in Turkey. They were bought out at a very decent premium. And now I see the words 'high grade' and I know that this translates into a valuable asset... High grade ilmenite, perfect for the Chloride process which appears to be the chosen process that the Chinese government will embrace to help in their 'clearing the skies' program to enhance air quality I think a takeover is a no-brainer. China's investments in Greenland are on the rise | gersemi
12/2/2018 07:48 | Sandgrove - super smart hedge fund. Invests in special situations, short or long term. Considers Bluejay owning a super massive world class asset a 'special situation'! Morning FAMily | maccamcd
12/2/2018 07:17 | Seems like a bit of competition. | snowyflake
12/2/2018 07:06 | Sandgrove's upped their position | gersemi
12/2/2018 06:50 | Over the weekend Dundas has slipped into some daylight for those interested. | snowyflake
12/2/2018 00:22 | Luckily for Bluejay - the Homogeneous nature of the Ilmenite ensures that it makes sense for an ore user to enter into longer term contracts - because the Metallurgy for creating TiO2 is the same on day 1 right through to 5 years, 10 years etc later. China is a big market, however Rio Tinto are a large %of the market. They are based in Canada & have been for 65 years. Quebec.(Hard rock mine - more processing than sand!) TiZiR UK are mainly based in Norway where Ilmenite is produced along with imports from its other operations in Senegal which are Sands shipped up to Norway. The Ilmenite in Norway itself is Hard Rock and has to be blasted and crushed like Rio’s. How Interesting that they now find it worthwhile to set up a Sands operation in Africa to supply Norway..... What does that say about our sands? Interesting video. Chemours maintain a number of Ti sites in the US. And, if some brave soul wishes to buy for $3300 - we could get a copy of the Ceresana report on the Titanium market out till 2023! We could see that in a mere 400 pages that the World needs a good 4% compound growth in this material & that Ilmenite is the most important base source- hooray! R. | rampair
11/2/2018 19:18 | JAY is perfectly placed to supply high grade ilmenite for China's transfer from the sulphate to chloride process production of Ti02: 'Amongst the juniors presenting at TZMI was BlueJay Mining*, showcasing the potentially massive, high-grade Dundas project in Greenland, whose premium ilmenite is expected to be attractive to chloride-slag producers' - 'While China-based producers will continue to improve TiO2 quality, this is a process that could take decades, he noted. And Chemours in October 2017 introduced its offering to the Greater China market called BaiMax – a chloride-based TiO2 that is cost competitive but higher quality in terms of brightness and longevity to the typical sulphate-based TiO2 in the market. “Over time, China will become more of a chloride market,” said Vergnano. The China market is moving towards higher quality, especially with the government’s crackdown on pollution which has already resulted in temporary as well as permanent TiO2 plant shutdowns, he said.' | gersemi

11/2/2018 16:48 | Would it not be time to bring the family into line should Bluejay explore and development Norilsk 2!! Thank you for the research. | snowyflake
11/2/2018 16:00 | Thank you, (I think!) Seriously though, If you were buying a house or car you would want to know what it was like? So, possibly this could help those considering JAY as an investment. That & the fact that the family have confined me to posting rather than listening to me trying to explain why Bluejay is such a good company! :-) Rampair. | rampair |
