What is a 'Bollinger Band®'

A Bollinger Band®, developed by famous technical trader John Bollinger, is plotted two standard deviations away from a simple moving average.

Bollinger Band

In this example of Bollinger Bands®, the price of the stock is bracketed by an upper and lower band along with a 21-day simple moving average. Because standard deviation is a measure of volatility, when the markets become more volatile, the bands widen; during less volatile periods, the bands contract.

Rampair - you know from my comments here that I am a big fan of tightening bollinger bands.

I think that you can still find the SRX chart on advfn if you have java. That is a good example of the break north that occurred there with SRX in 2016.

I think that there will be a break north with JAY but as ever DYOR.

That’s fair I think SquireSquire, you have to build up a good few contacts over the years to run a site like MWalters. Clearly he’s very keen on JAY.
I see no reason to not pay his low membership fee if a tip then doubles your money!

Snowyflake, took a look at the bollinger bands - any tighter and they will pop!
Absolutely- in my opinion about to break to the upside at any moment.

Very much looking forward to Dundas Diner’s Sundowners!

Fishworks below HQ in Swallow Street

Took a look at the chart and bollinger bands which have narrowed; that is an indicator, if they stay tight of a break out and my view a biggish move north and the longer they stay tight the better. PS the share price could break down but unlikely imo.

Interesting that whispers indicate a demand 2-5 times larger than analysts predict.
This sort of thing will be known by the big Ilmenite users around The World.
Greenland is a safe place to do business & one that is looking to Minerals to reduce
it’s dependence on Denmark.
Dundas would have the potential to really make a material difference in terms of Tax
and royalty paid.
The main advantage is that simply moving sand from an enormous beach is about as good as it gets in mining. No unpleasant chemical use, and jobs locally.

Lots of news to come on many fronts we hope, (none involving rockets, unless re named the TiO2....price!:-)

I hear ALL (don't know how many) major players would have a sample of the product by the end of January.
Others intimated by rocket rod would already have what they need.
I assume these conversations about buying a product from a company that doesn't have the product readily available to buy take some time and strategy internally.

Whispers are the REAL global demand for the product JAY can deliver is more like 2-5X what the analysts pencil in. That equals continued price rises hopefully.

We just have to wait for the big boys to figure out what they need to do!

Questions questions

The best answer I can give is that many of us who post here have decent holdings; we like the assets and the management and I believe that I speak for most of the regulars when I say I currently have no intention of selling with the information already disclosed by RNSs and the company's website.
