Not heard from Squiresquire for a time. I know he took a decent profit several months ago but don't know if he bought back in again. He was alaways a very informative chap.

I would like to put my oar in with regard to the Ben Harrington tweet last night.

If I were the person who mentioned it to him, I would never trust Ben Harrington again.

In my view BH clearly values a scoop more than his contact.

Looks to me like they have secured a good level of equity funding at a modest discount to the prevailing share price and kept dilution to a minimum, what, around 10% dilution.

SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE INSTITUTIONS GET THEIR SHARES AT 22P? THE START SELLING ON A FEW PENCE RISE THEREBY HOLDING BACK THE share price UNTIL THEIR HOLDINGS ARE ABSORBED. 30p - it’s an easy to define resource, we don’t need too many consultants to go down the beach with a Niton XRF and a digger to work out that it’s massive!
If the City insists on having SRK poke holes up to 100m tons or so, any offtake or potential offering entity can clearly see from the GEUS report & simply by reading the multitude of studies on this orebody, that they will be buying a lifetime of Ilmenite ore that is Homogeneous.
it’s Metallurgy is the same in one place as another, and we see China refusing to allow low grade Ilmenite that’s often found with iron ore to be processed. The reason for this is that you use Sulphuric acid in the process.
Our Ilmenite can be processed by the “chloride “method ( Salt, NaCl is used) much better for cutting out pollution.
30p would be cheap on a low Capital intensity long running reserve, imho.

Fundraising numbers, 17m at 22p makes 77.272.727 new shares.

Hope that will be our lucky number and look forward to updates on
fundraising, off take agreements, procedure of the Disko split, etc etc. Its been a long wait but it seems to be brewing now.

Puts a decent floor under the price, allows Mr McIlree to negotiate from a comfortable
position.
What you don’t want to be is broke when the offtake negotiations start.

Similarly it allows the Company the luxury of time, it can build a better, more valuable proposition- it also gives credibility to the Company if they say “We can build the business ourselves”....

I've never seen a placing be announced and the price rise above the placing price. Looking forward to more news flow.

Maybe the leak came from the company or the company's advisers? That would surely be the most obvious source of such 'inside' information. It's certainly not going to emanate from bulletin boards such as this

Either way, it makes little difference. What matters is the news itself and how that impacts upon the company's development and valuation

To what end do these leaks help anyone here? Do you as a shareholder think you are better off knowing this before its officially released and/or completed if it puts at risk the entire process.

what for example would have been the effect on your shares if this got leaked on the first day of the process instead of what looks like the last?

apart from getting a warm fuzzy feeling for an hour or so can you explain this to me please, im fascinated as to your view. In actual fact you are all lucky that the management is capable of dealing with this in a way that didn't destroy value.

I have a good feeling here. Customers will want to see that JAY has the operational and financial capacity to fulfil off-take agreements that they may enter into. I bet this raise is designed for such a purpose
