Very similar parallels ( in terms of opportunity, Capex and finance ) to GRL. Just waiting the environmental permit there, then first gold in 3-6 months. Similar market capitalisation. If GRL start first, the market cap appreciation should be a mirror of what will be achieved with BMV.

Dreamtwister,

The crucial point is that it is BMV's decision on what happens next, not SAU's.

How BMV wish to proceed has precedence over any option that may then be subsequently open to SAU.

Reckon 10p/share once SAU’s share is acquired and finance confirmed. Gold production by Q3 2021. Gold $1900+ , average operating profit over first 3 years c. $20million. 20p per share this time next year.

In addition, If a sale to BMV does not proceed, Southern Gold has the option to consider a sale (whether partially or fully) of its 50% interest in the Singapore JV companies to third parties or the possibility of listing or vending these joint venture assets (only) onto another stock exchange such as the Standard Segment on the London Stock Exchange for example. Discussions with third parties have already commenced and Southern Gold has made some progress on several of these options.

Digger,
Well worth following the Ozzie hot copper thread re SAU. Over the last few years its been a good source of info to consider and filter.

Never taken to SM as I've always had the feeling he is not a man of any urgency. He appears to have a history of disappointing his shareholders.

Maybe BMV simply lost patience with him.

Andy - I know it don't make sense. TW has a habit of sniffing out info like a dog with a bone sometimes.
The BMV share price has reacted favourably so far. Not sure if it's the hotrocket buyers or something else brewing.

Digger,

The BMV CEO said in a recent interview that "SAU are financed for their half", so I doubt they had spent those funds on exploration.

I just can't see why SAU would give their half away for a paltry $1 million as TW suggests, if I were still a SAU shareholder I would be pretty upset if they did that.

If profitable production is so close, why give away your asset so cheaply? Production would produce cashflow to spend on exploration.....

Bo - he seems pretty confident. Reading in between the lines do you think the delay in getting BMV's finance was down to SAU? I know they are supposed to have funds to finance their half but in reality we don't know what goes on at the negotiating table. Maybe our financiers were put off by SAU exploring all the time and raising funds to do just that? Have they got a mine operating yet? I don't know as haven't looked.
It just seemed odd to me that they would want to get rid of their share here as it would make more sense to develop the mine and reap the rewards especially as the start up costs are low in comparison to starting from scratch.

Winnifreth has the cheek to call SAU ''Oz Shysters'', while at the same time advising to sell between 6.5-7p before Xmas, even though, according to his ''source'' BMV will be paying just over $1M for the SAU share.

It's like an AI bot being simultaneously translated through 5 different languages at once. I'm sure it made sense to someone somewhere at some point in time. Bizarre.
