dream,

I was more interested in whether SAU can, at a given point, say enough is enough and force BMV to either pony up or reduce their stake in the JV?

And obviously that's if SAU could fund any additional share of course, and i'm not making that assumption.

hopefully BMV will raise their share and then the project can finally move forward.

Obviously everyone here hopes this financing goes through so that BMV and Southern Gold can commence work and move towards production.

If anything goes wrong, I wonder if there is a point where Southern gold can force BMV to either pony up or be forced to reduce their stake in the project?

Genuine question, surely one can't keep the other waiting forever?

Andy - agree. They seem to be very cautious but have delivered so far. I hope they have a plan B if this avenue turns into a cul de sac.

Standard caveats Andy, they’d have been foolish to announce this and the previous RNS then fail....

Very good news; terms be agreed, documented, legal status etc. over the next 4-6 weeks with cash available by end of July. First gold production late Q1 / Q2 2021. Timing of revenue generation relative to gold macro environment couldn’t be better + production cash costs are pretty low. We also have the government grants etc. Great time to hold these and t feels like the “grind” of the last 18 months is coming to fruition.

Southern Gold released an exploration update, nothing relating to BMV:

Covid is not preventing them from drilling, but lab samples are being delayed.

Digger,

Yes you're correct, thanks for the correction.

I was using Yahoo finance and the currency at the top is clearly AUD, but maybe the cap is in us$? It dpesn't say any different.

There is still too big a gap, IMHO, if anything it should be the other way round given that SAU have recently raised cash and have other projects.

Andy - SAU market cap 20.53 Aussie dollar which equates to £11 mill. They made a half year loss of 2.5 mill Aussie in Dec 19. I don't know why there is disparity in the market values but maybe they have more exploration costs going forward on other projects and are costed accordingly?
Agree that BMV need to get finance sorted now as way overdue.

Dt - old fossil lol. Utter drivel from you again.
You had best remove your comment about "ponzie" ( correct word is Ponzi btw)as that can be construed to be libel and leaves you open to prosecution if the person you refer to has a mind to take action.
I also have an option to reply and you also have an option to scroll.
Have a nice day and remember to take your meds ha

dt - you say southern Gold has "opted for exploration....think about it". Doesn't make sense to explore and then do nothing if you are going to use chemicals to extract. I seem to recall that BMV have already said it is/had addressed environmental requirements. In any case do you really think that governments listen to their people? They might appear to toe the fashionable line but in the end when it boils down to hard cash they go their own way.India and China will be using fossil fuels to keep pace with the western world so not a lot will change.

I have to agree with most on here that you are a stirrer and to me it seems you have some twisted agenda to disrupt. Is it because you want the share price to drop so you can get in cheaper or you have gone short? Who knows and I for one don't care.
Go set up an SAU board and play over there as you bring nothing here.
If you are so concerned of lack of company reports why don't you email the company?

Someone can start one under SAU. In Australia the bulletin boards are called Hotcopper
