02/9/2005 12:12 | For Immediate Release 2 September 2005 Blue Star Mobile Group PLC: Contract Gain T-Mobile Football Game 'Unique Mr Woo Keepy Uppy Challenge' Blue Star Mobile Group PLC ('Blue Star' or ' the Company'), the AIM listed provider of entertainment and promotional content via mobile phones, announces that it has been awarded a contract from T-Mobile for an undisclosed amount, to provide a new mobile java game called Mr. Woo Keepy Uppy Challenge, on an exclusive basis. The game uses Mr. Woo, T-Mobile's very own football juggling entertainer, as the main character. Blue Star has produced the game and provided a complete solution by managing the game delivery, directly to T-Mobile. The contract represents the first time that Blue Star has created a bespoke game for T-Mobile. The game was launched at the end of August 2005 as part of the launch of F.C. T-Mobile, a virtual football club found at www.t-mobile.co.uk/f offering a mix of football information and games to keep fans of all clubs entertained throughout the season. The game is being promoted through this website and through the match-day programmes at T-Mobile sponsored clubs. The objective of the game is to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible, using Mr. Woo's head, shoulders, knees and feet. The longer the ball stays in the air, the more points are scored. There are three levels to the game to ensure both the casual gamer to serious player can enjoy it equally. Said Toby Hester, Sponsorship Manager, T-Mobile: 'Mr. Woo Keepy Uppy Challenge, produced by Blue Star Mobile, is a key part of our strategy to bring the brand to life through F.C. T-Mobile. Mr. Woo's performances have certainly added value to the fan's experience on match day. This will be augmented further through this innovative and fun mobile game.' Said Steve Clarke, Chief Executive, Blue Star Mobile Group: ' This unique game created and delivered to T-Mobile continues to position our company in the growing mobile content market. We hope to work with T-Mobile on other future projects | daz2004 | |
