23/2/2006 00:43 | Hopefully not before I buy back in | lossman
20/2/2006 12:03 | Dissapointed to see all sells today and no movement after the Blue Star was even on the front cover of Shares Mag this week. Need some news to flood through has been a while since the last RNS. | hartlepoolfc2
20/2/2006 11:55 | Excellent trading today - a 100k sell and a few other small sells, yet all that's happened is that the bid price is down by 0.5p with the offer remaining the same! There has to be decent interest in BTR for the price to be as stable as it is. I'm still hoping/expecting further contracts at any time, with hopefully some World Cup deal flow thrown in. | rivaldo
16/2/2006 13:17 | No problem...Do like the look of BTR and longer term I think some more positive newsflow could push these on much higher, especially if there are, as the relaible source says more deals at hand..... Anyway so busy at the moment not had much time on the markets to research much else, still trying to find some new quality plays without much joy of late :( | tole
16/2/2006 12:33 | Thanks for the update Tole. I took a few off the table last week but more than happy to hold the remainder for the forseeable. Couple of other speculative punts and had made a great 50% on these. No comment Rivaldo (although I believe that there is a free 4 week Shares Mag offer on at the moment). I'll try and find the link if you wish. Kind Regards GHF | glasshalfull
16/2/2006 11:52 | You're a gent Tole! Many thx - hopefully I can return the favour on other stocks with news alerts etc. Since BTR floated at 20.75p the current price isn't quite a "record"! But further news flow as predicted should imo send BTR up to that 24p target pretty quickly. Here's the article: "Behind the glitz and glamour of the Brit music awards this week telco tiddler Blue Star Mobile (BTR:AIM) has been making a tidy little profit. The company has a deal with awards sponsor Motorola to provide promotional and entertainment content for that firm's new ROKR (pronounced 'Rocker') handset, the first ever to feature in-built iTunes software through the O2 (OOM) network. Blue Star remains tight-lipped on the value of this agreement, although a reliable source close to the firm says more are at hand. During last year's Brit awards Blue Star had a similar deal in place with Korean handset manufacturer Samsung. Blue Star shares, tipped by Shares a few weeks ago at 16.75p (26 Jan '06), recently hit a record 20.25p, and bullish City forecasts predicted the Content stock to hit 24p this year. The ROKR deal adds to Blue Star's basket of contracts won in recent months. Others include providing downloadable London maps for British Airways (BAY) passengers, promotional content for German retailer BlueBuy, and a sports game contract with multi-national games developer Player One." | rivaldo
16/2/2006 11:24 | Sent you an email Riv. | tole
16/2/2006 11:00 | Thx Tole - oh well, off to WH Smiths again then (keep quiet GHF). "A reliable source" eh? Must be true then. But on this market cap I'm pretty confident we'll get more RNS's soon. | rivaldo
16/2/2006 08:55 | Thought you might be interested in a bit of coverage in Shares today...a nice write up and they go on to state that although BTR remain tightlipped on the value of the Motorola deal a reliable source says more deals are at hand.... | tole
14/2/2006 18:42 | Price still holding strong and moved by only 1000 buys. Must bode weel for the future, and with WNN group starting to take off the smaller cos in this sector must be a buy! | kryss
10/2/2006 14:13 | Nice 25k buy at the full offer today. Despite small and inevitable profit-taking, it seems that buyers are out there mopping up spare stock. | rivaldo
08/2/2006 22:43 | With a March year end the finals won't be till May/June hfc2. I'd also love to see a £400k PTP this year, but more likely imo is a small profit for the year, implying maybe £150k PTP in H2. Annualised that would be £300k PTP, so with decent growth you could see maybe £500k-£600k PTP for 2006/7. Leaving room for maybe a doubling of the share price over the next few months. Alternatively I'm hoping for good news flow (World Cup-related maybe?) soon to send the shares well over the IPO price. | rivaldo
08/2/2006 22:16 | Does anyone know the exact date of the finals? We could do with a RNS to add a bit of fuel.I would love to see a 400K PTP profit as I have seen mentioned a few times. | hartlepoolfc2
07/2/2006 22:40 | Despite BTR's recent gains, the herd do not seem to have appeared on the thread - that's a bit of a bonus. We must expect a consolidation now, especially as it has reached what can be considered as psychological resistance - the flotation price. good luck all. have a good evening | haveagoodday
07/2/2006 18:34 | The 68k buyer at 21p obviously took the seller's stock. Sorry about all the posts today, but when a stock's moving like this it's fascinating (and important) to track the trades to get the full picture imo, and here it appears that there are permanently buyers in the background waiting to mop up stock. | rivaldo
07/2/2006 12:05 | Even better - a sell of 73k shares has gone through at 19.5p without shifting the price. For the market to take this on the nose (unlike in the past) is extremely good news imo. | rivaldo
07/2/2006 10:29 | Interesting that a seller can get 20.17p, well above the bid and nearer the mid - there must still be demand for these. | rivaldo
07/2/2006 08:47 | Not a resources sector man myself goodday - but many thx for the charts - most useful. The pick up in volume as the price has increased says it all about where this share is going. More buyers sniffing around already today. I wonder if it's time for a holdings RNS or two to indicate where some of the buying's coming from? | rivaldo
06/2/2006 22:45 | Just posted this chart on FAR5. BTR following GTL.... The difference is that the outlook for BTR is far superior to that of GTL | haveagoodday
06/2/2006 22:23 | Not sure about a ten-bagger hartlepoolfc2, but I agree that with the March'06 results the market will be more aware of BTR's profitability (assuming that remains the case). On a current £5.8m m/cap and with a fairly small free float it won't take much news flow and progress to get up to a £10m-£20m m/cap. An RNS or two about World Cup campaigns would go down well about now methinks. Excellent volumes today too. | rivaldo
06/2/2006 18:46 | Another good day for BTR. Good luck all. | tiraider
06/2/2006 18:18 | I have been monitoring these for a few weeks and finally bought in today. It is hard to find a potential 10 bagger in this market - But I think we have one here. 10x todays price would give us a market cap of £60 million, we only need profits of 2.5m-£3m to justify that valuation. I think the brokers will start to pick this one out once the final year figures come out and forecasts start to get pencilled in. The newsflow of contracts should continue to drive the share price and once this sector starts the consolidation they all predict that will add fuel too-for such a small cap company there client list is very impressive. Overall a good situation, just have a look at MonsterMob(MOB) to see how these smaller mobile content firms can grow. | hartlepoolfc2
06/2/2006 15:39 | hi pippit - I guess the company has a very small market cap so problems picking up significant quantities of shares are to be expected. The trick is to be buying when most are trying to sell and the share price falling. If you are looking to sell do it when the price is rising; easier said than done though! Market cap now about £6m so won't think about whether to sell out until its 12 or higher! | lou72 |
