The website also looks a bit like it has been made on a generic service like Go Daddy

it shouldn't have been a sneak preview.... it should already have been there

"...a limited freemium model to increase user adoption "

I am staggered at the way they are treating new sign up users .....

not even a blog post introduction to explain what is available now and why ...

nothing to really keep anyone on board and coming back ..except their email address I guess

...left to hunt around for a starter video....that most will miss seeing a link anyway

it is hardly a "building a Community" aimed to impress

when i sent in a support feedback they asked for my name ...but in the reply I was referred to by the email address ...charming !!

You all had a sneak preview of the video yesterday and people complained it wasn’t on the main site!

yep, it's a good plan

I think also, by having early access, they will build up a loyal community, who'll they'll keep happy by adding their software requests

pretty standard way of operating now tbh

Chriscallen - elevate.io is the product. It's currently free. The bells and whistles (and frankly, some of the basics that are missing) will be added over time and you will be able to to use and test them for free. Once they feel there is enough that they can charge for, they will separate it into a paid offering and a free offering (aka a freeium model)...the latter therefore having some of the features restricted.

They updated us on this a few weeks ago in the Finals presentation - this was a change of plan to what had been advised last year. They've reiterated that updated plan in the RNS.

Reality seems to be setting in at long last. Meaningful revenue is way way off it seems, and the share price is sliding a fraction, as I expected it to do, and more than likely the trend will continue as folks cut losses and get bored of only getting promises.

The free product is not the one that is being sold. The description of what they are actually doing is not what the headline says and is hidden in quite a lot of text. If the headline said that the product is now in the final stages of testing it would have been honest. How exactly will the use of a limited freemium model increase or measure user adoption for the paid for product with it's additional bells and whistles (unless initially those bells and whistles are made available in the freemium package)?

I don't expect any significant market interest until there is working paid for software that is winning users in large numbers. Even then UK II interest may be limited because of BIRDs history of losses for coming up to 24 years and its low capitalisation. Smart US investors who realise what elevate.io is may be the ones to scoop the pot.

Cc,

They've been in early access since September. On so many levels, I'm appalled. Cannot understand Sumit's thought process.

"It's an RNS that set expectations that were immediately shown to be false. The software which will be available for sale is not on "general release" and as of now there is no date."

Not sure how above relates to the below, from the RNS...🤔

"The platform will evolve iteratively with fast development turnaround cycles to add functionality and features. To gain user adoption, elevate.io has initially been released as a free product and will move to a freemium model over time."

The problem is not the product which has given every indication of being a potential world best. It's an RNS that set expectations that were immediately shown to be false. The software which will be available for sale is not on "general release" and as of now there is no date. That is not unusual with software launches and a straightforward admission that it was in still in the final testing phase before release would not have caused any real harm.

Unfortunately BIRD comes with a history of expectations and disappointments and that will cause any IIs to exercise great caution. The RNS only reinforces any poor perception in the Market of BIRDs directors.

I have not sold any shares and have no intention of doing so because my ongoing view is that SR/MV and their team can deliver.

I've been invested here since 2015.

The launch was yesterday. We got two likes on twitter.

Not even the blackbird staff are liking their company tweets.

I'm absolutely floored. What are these guys thinking?

After 10 years, an increase in the shares in issue of 300% and more visions than a monk on acid

I'd quite like the price to not be where it was 10 years ago.

All CEO have "ambition" and "vision" ...there is nothing new there .... and even collaboration isn't new either

Anyone can have visions of winning the Champions League ...but ..it is a game by game journey

For now...We need to stick to playing each game and seeing how each goes....

It is quite entertaining watching progress at the company and people's responses along the way, particularly over the past few weeks.🙂 Hopefully the fun will continue after Easter.
