Other than those who follow Elevate/BB there is nothing to share at the minute. A bit like Eva. More patience needed imho.

HB.

I just can’t see this going anywhere until investors get proof there’s a demand for elevate.io.

I have contacted elevate.io/support on three occasions in the last couple of days.
They are super responsive, quick and helpful. They are also appreciative of any input from users.

Highly recommend using their webpage with any problems.

Is there a new version of Alexa rankings?

Daily or weekly webpage hits would be interesting.

I also assume they will need to roll out 24hr support for different time zones.

I suspect at this stage they are testing the infrastructure and how the current services handle managed increased volume and where any issues lie

That's odd behaviour and worth flagging to support

The issue is dragging media into the timeline. The first time it is dragged in it looks like the project does not recognise it and it is therefore unavailable for export even though you can edit it. But if you remove that media from the time line and then drag it in a second time the project recognises it and all is OK.

Bit weird but it is repeatable.

That's interesting Ortega. Do even heavy hardware platforms like Avid not do it?

As a very amateur Creator, I would pay the basic monthly package for the frame accurate editing alone. Dropping in the files and clipping to frame accuracy to put together small reels has been a game changer for me. Nothing I have used has come close to being able to execute that so simply and fast. Simplicity is huge there is nothing worse than being frustrated.

The investor market in the UK per se does not believe. Example Lloyds Banking Group discounted at about 0.7 Price to Book despite huge uplift on profits and a Growth Mindset CEO. If and when Britain recovers investor sentiment will return and that will drip down to smaller companies as well. I have several ETF's in my pension. The worst performer is UK Small Companies my 2nd highest performing ETF is American Small Companies, this just further demonstrates why we are where we are from a share price perspective. Just a friendly reminder to everyone that you have invested in a piece of IP. The value of that IP is completely unknown, and with the above-mentioned investor sentiment within the UK, it makes complete sense we are where we are from a Share Price. Bird is very tightly owned won't take much in the future. If this is a success all will be well.

Okay might be worth contacting support maybe they can have a look at the file

I have just tried another export (old iPhone video footage), no issues worked fine.

All editors need technically good files to ingest, what is the source of your files?

I have had no issues exporting.

Are you using Chrome?

Cyberbub, yes, see my earlier post.

Start the project, check export is available, then recheck after every edit, if export becomes unavailable undo the edit and try again. It’s a work in progress to find out where I am going wrong. I did eventually get a successful export but it was messy.

Been having a go at the editor for the first time this evening. I'm very much a novice, having only done basic video editing in Windows bundled tools before, but I like Elevate! Very smooth and easy to create effects (albeit a limited choice at this time), transitions etc. All effects are applied instantly, despite working in the cloud.(A) I'm having one problem, exporting a video, I'm getting an error saying "The project contains missing media and cannot be exported." Anyone seen this? Both videoclips I'm using are uploaded and seem to be working fine in the editing panel.(B) Does anyone want to try out the collaboration feature with me? Let me know in the private messages. Thanks

Good question.

I suspect elevate is built on new architecture but of course the Blackbird codec is the same.

So is elevate a Blackbird Lite? Couldnt they just put blackbird on the public cloud?
How can elevate not be ready to fully roll out if it’s a slimmed version of blackbird

My understanding.

Enterprise very Costly (compared to elevate) and it runs on our own AWS Cloud. Enterprise Class Support and very demanding Security from big Clients.
Niche market

elevate.io is AWS (and others?) PUBLIC Cloud ready to scale or even Hyper Scale.
Massive market.

Because elevate is mass market our whole business model changes for investors with staggering number if we get it right as they have said.

It also finally makes us an acquisition target to the likes of Google or Adobe etc.

Meanwhile the Stockmarket doesn't believe.

This may seem like a stupid question but what is the difference between Blackbirds video editing in a browser and elevate video editing in a browser.

McSean your looking at it wrong. We are building a solution for professional creators to make their life easier and saves them hours of time. The basic part of the website is done but all the tools they will need will come when they launch the paid version. As I am sure you know, people look and review stuff once, why pick the moment when it’s not ready for the pro market. This is more of a release so they can monitor issues as more and more people try it out but the big push will come when the paid version goes live.

It's not for me to say and I can see your logic.

I'm about video editing and video editing technology I guess, certainly not a marketing person.

However I'm very confident they know what they are doing and it was explained by Sumit at the investor meeting presentation, which I hope you have checked out.

NickB,

Not sure how you can say promotion is the wrong approach. Even Steve Jobs promoted Apple. You don't think Sumit should be putting himself out there at the various tech conferences?
