So a lot of Blackbird people will be working and collaborating via the Cloud remote.

Makes sense.

They have done a lot of the design work of elevate in Figma.

It might be more people can work from home and collaborate and there is less of a need for "everyone" in the office at one time...so more dynamic to book a meeting room, just when needed

Close to UCL, nice area for an office, very convenient for a stroll to the offices of the internet giants.

Makes sense cost and location wise.

Close to British Museum too.

From the accounts it appears the lease has expired - so doubtful at £90k p.a.

Our office has been elevated.

I kind of hope The City misses this opportunity

I certainly get the impression something big is brewing. I mean moving office is not a small thing, particularly moving into this part of London.

My first thoughts a few blocks from Google office.

I know that area well.

I'll be going to Haringey FC v Hastings on Friday with a good mate who lives on Barter Street directly facing it.

I might even go to the AGM.

Looks a very smart address.

6 min walk to one of Googles offices, handy perhaps.

Canva, valued at about $40.5 billion, has acquired Affinity a British graphic design software business, to fill the Adobe-sized holes in its design suite

Hopefully they want to enter the collaborative video editing space next.

Cabi looks decent, probably what the extra £1m went towards. Cool new offices to have those meeting with Microsoft, Adobe, Apple etc 😉

9. PROPERTY, PLANT AND EQUIPMENT - Continued

Office Building
During 2019 the Company entered into a non-cancellable lease for a period of five years with an option to break after three years. The Company has taken up the final two years of the lease. The Company recognised a right-of-use asset and a lease liability of £431,988 at the lease commencement date. The right-of-use asset is measured at cost, which comprises the initial amount of the lease liability adjusted for any lease payments made at or before the commencement date. The right-of-use asset is subsequently depreciated using the straight-line method over the five-year lease term. The lease liability is initially measured at the present value of the lease payments that are not paid at the commencement date
discounted at an estimate of the Company’s incremental borrowing rate.

New Office
In December 2023, the Company entered into 12 months non-cancellable 12 months lease agreement starting 1st of April 2024. This will lead to an operating lease liability for 2024 of £53,600 and £20,100 for 2025.

I've been having some problems with 'unable to export due to missing data', which seems almost random. I found I had to be very disciplined with importing media, creating clips and building those clips into a short movie. I'm still not sure what the problem was.

They've only recently turned up. Pesky traders. Someone said perhaps we should keep things to the guild board. Makes sense in this case.
