What a brilliant move by the bod, snouts in the trough & mates rates.
Must be good for a quick 50% from here.

At one point this morning, the selling price was higher than the buying price.

The 80k trade at 6.33 was a sell , after this trade, the selling price then dropped.

I wonder how much the placing costs? £200k? I hoped for a minute it was a major on boarding but just hni and regular investors.

There goes NickB theory. If there was any interest from Adobe surely this is where they'd appear.

Can buy at 6.16p, so all or most of this morning's trades are buys imo.
Big opportunity to buy at crazy low price.

He's like the rest of us Dreamers, apart from the fact it's his baby and he can wait plus all the usual benefits of being the ceo, nice place to be. Think like you owned the company rather than being a gambler with fingers crossed. No one priority, look after yourself, no 2 priority Look after yourself etc and drop some crumbs along the way. Be lucky

To be fair CEO has bought a lot of shares at much higher price so must be well fown, like me.
So he obviously believes the story. Maybe one day sales will take off

This is just a share placing to allow some mates to get a chunk before elevate launch.

No more than that.

Cheeky really.

>>>cyberbub, I wish!

I am just a jo blogs investor who makes sure he claims back his (basic rate) income tax through AIM listed EIS qualifuying investments, so to do that I need to invest around £30K per year in EIS qualifying AIM placings and IPOs, I first invested in BIRD (through a placing) about 7 years ago and have participated in most but not all of the subsequent placings.

Interesting timing, to announce now, and not along with the results next week.

Nothing changes. Buyer beware, lots of naive posts on here, this is the ceo Ian averaging down, had lots of purchases in the mid 20's, he will create a good news story along the way and sell sxxxe loads and start it all again. Any spike to 14 / 15 may be your best hope. All blue smoke. Oh dear

Yes I think you are correct, I attended the Blackbird investor event held in Shoreditch back in September last year and after the presentation I got talking to Amrit Nahal from Allenby's about Allenby's involvement with Blackbird and other Aim small caps, Read her bio here:

It seems that whilst Allenby's do not deal directly with individual investors, they do have a network of HNWs and family offices that they introduce to their client companies. I suspect at least some of the new investors in this current placing come from this network

I assume that timbo is one of the HNWs referred to in the RNS...

thanks for your reply

"and was pleased to learn this morning that there was no scale back"

suggests they had targeted certain individuals who had already pledged their investment and not many others knew about it ?

Best sell up and move on if you are so down on you investment and look to green pastures ... or quit moaning..moaning isn't going to get your money back is it.

you asked the question: "Would be useful to know if these "high net worth investors" are just looking to flip them for a profit ...or actually have interest in the journey"

I think that by virtue that the company is applying for EIS advanced approval for a relatively small raise suggests to me that a substantial number of investors have requested this, in which case their time horizon will be three years or more 🙂
