It’s either great technology for the big boys to invest in or it’s not and there is no time left for them as we are at a most significant inflection point in video creation.

So if the big boys are not interested in leveraging our tech and new product then we effectively become a creator video app startup and will have to become the next Canva or Figma with a fundraise through AIM 🤯

Simple

Distorting what I say just comes across as petulant NickB. There can't be many more toys in that pram or, for that matter judging by your posts, shares either. Your posts go from one extreme to the other. Only a couple of weeks ago you were eulogising about the player and saying who wouldn't use elevate with the integration of the player given it will assist monetisation. That was the main point I was reiterating.

I'd be delighted with an early takeover but BIRD will be in a stronger position to negotiate a higher price once they get traction. At some stage, the player will be integrated and BIRD will sell/offer data feedback to creators just as Google do for website creators. BIRD the Google analytics equivalent of video? Probably not, but it will 'steer' (to use Steven Streater's word) subscribers to elevate and help monetisation for both the creator and BIRD.

Sounds a nice little business that can slowly grow over time.

Thanks pat-cash, I totally agree with your thoughts rather than NickB's doom and gloom outlook if BIRD isn't taken over for 2 trillion within the next 12 weeks. That seems an extreme mindset as there is a highly lucrative middle ground. I suspect Mo Valens and Sumit Rai might just have a tad more experience and knowledge about effective strategy. They built up 1m users with a vastly inferior offering.

As you say pat, partnerships are a low-cost way of getting early traction and profitability. A smaller profit from each payer from a much larger number of subscribers that are accumulated much more quickly with a strategy that preserves cash sounds fine to me. The approach doesn't exclude the possibility of a partnership with one of the very large players either. Neither does it exclude the prospect of a takeover which I suspect will happen this year.

Partner with a video Ai company would also be interesting.

…….

Bonio (you are right I should have sold some)
EVS video editing sales are going through the roof?

A nice little deal with a fabulous company but…
Oh and talk of GV why no deal when GV are open to partners?

So Nick

After saying you would sell out if the OEM was EVS and not GV, you stayed invested anyway because creator was really what you were interested all along - even though creator was not announced until after the EVS deal was public.

And now you are invested in a product you have never seen, but solely for the reason you think a major will buy out said product you have never seen pre launch for billions?

But Pat is the lunatic?

Pat has nothing to do with BIRD.

Just an investor.

Pat
Good luck with the startup

Sadly more likely to be wiped out by the big boys than be a successful little AIM share with some sales partners who will have their own struggles.
