I had a quick look at mcsean's link. Last accounts show an insolvent BS (-261,385) and an annual loss of over £2.5M. From a business standpoint there's nothing obvious to like for BIRD unless there is technology that fills a hole or that would enhance BIRD's offering.

BIRD seemed really buoyant a few weeks back and now they're liking

Even Blackbird has better staff retention over 20 years.

They have a Cloud video platform think of it as a iplayer app but for any client not just the BBC

I would imagine any football club could setup their own channel using the Simplestream platform

Maybe we can partner?

Not at all surprising. In any other market they would already be in handcuffs. Suppressing details of share purchases and sales by more than 15 mins should be a criminal offence. Repeated offences should carry automatic suspension from the LSE. But it won't happen under either BJ or JC.
