Invest360,

I didn't realize Azure) AWS had introduced the A&E deal, in fact I'm fairly positive they did not. I've been hearing about promise for 5 years.

Bird developed Eva, which would have had superior tech to fireworks. Rather than find a buyer for it or building the community, they killed it with no feedback to shareholders. All the money had been spent to bring it to market but they knew best. At the time I advised them to go after a specific market e.g. fashion and suggested they get a popular Irish fashion blogger to bring publicity to Eva to whom I would introduce them. The patronising response I got from Jens, they knew best.

Since I have bought in their primary function has been to do fundraising after fundraising.

They seem to have a knack for bungling business. I'm hopeful now im is on board but it seems to me that without a buyout they will remain a tiddler etc.

As Warren Buffett says: "The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient." The question is McS, do you believe the information about the market fit of BB and the market readiness to adopt the cloud? If you do then your patience will be rewarded as others, who do not have the insight or patience, sell out.

Mcsean - aren't you trying to sell a loss making company to investors?

You'd best given up as, de facto, it has no value.

Mcsean. Your analysis is a little binary if you don't mind my saying. Loss-making? Yes - that's because it's spent money creating product for a market that is only just coming into being. Being bought by Google/IBM/Alibaba/MS or going by the wayside? There's a universe of opportunities in between. The scope of the video market that BB can address - and has a suite of technology that it not only a perfect fit for this market, but is pretty much unique, and covered by patents - is mind boggling. It's also being favoured for this very market by Google as 1 of one 5 founding partners - and has shown great promise with the likes of AWS and Azure who have already introduced the A+E (AKA Disney) deal. Maybe one day Google will buy BB and integrate it with its core architecture - but at the moment the rich picking are to had in this video production market (esp news and sports) that is at the very beginning of a cloud boom.

Who else would buy a loss making video editing company?

Other hope, firework/ blackbird integration.

mk, yes and Microsoft too shows nothing.

That's why I was excited by Google and then....

I wonder is SS or someone else sabotaging potential takeover bids? All that's left now in the cloud space is IBM and Alibaba...

My only hope is that Google is trying to get a better price for blackbird or something along those lines

Nothing wrong with a bit of consolidation before the next leg up, in fact I think that is good.

I think the share is acting as I would expect it to if we are correct about the future.

Yes no Director buys :-) I like that one.

I think this share is out of the range of the Pumpers, so I do feel we have a serious group of investors building a stake.

The tiny free float may prove me wrong.

I assumed AWS was a dead duck and we are focusing on MSFT and Google.

Although, with MFST, we were show casing with them at the start of the year and the lack of conversion is disappointing/alarming/surprising.

Still - we were talking to the US government with nobody knowing, so who knows what is going on.

Just read article from aws about video editing in the cloud

Far as i can gather it's to setup running your workstation software in a remote desktop environment.

"Cloud Video Editing on the AWS Cloud
Quick Start Reference Deployment"

The guide is 21 pages long and that's the 'quick start' version!

I've been video editing using Blackbird for a long while and I've never read a single page of setup material.

Granted, there's just me, and I know it gets a bit more complicated when you start integrating multiple people / projects with on-site storage and feeds from here there and everywhere and so on, but I can't imagine getting cloud video editing to work with Blackbird is anywhere near as complicated.

And why isn't blackbird there?!!!

I think someone is hoovering up shares in an orderly fashion.

When they still only offer max 25k limit. Does not make sense with all the sells today unless they know they have a place to put them.

£1mbs/share I am sure there will plenty of stroking.

Here a stroke, there a stroke, everywhere a stroke stroke.

"Think I would have a stroke with 1mbs."

There will be no stroking with 1mbs.

Unless you prefer the 1990s slow reveal.
