Brexit sounds like a reason to pile in.

Although you would hope they will sell the company whilst the is weak and they can get a better rate on any USD sales price.

In my software business we launched at what turned out to be 1/3 of the price we now charge. That was partly because it was new and a little unformed and also because we hadnt been able to feel out the value of the product to our market. Then we slowly increased it over time. I presume theres plenty of latitude for BB to do the same thing.

Good points. I assume IM is well aware of the commercial possibilities and given his shareholding and aggressive buying I am content to let the guy do his job. And he seems to be doing it very well to date.

Yup - but they are now making a lot of money via increased penetration, sales and viewing.

MLB and NFL can afford to pay more than 50k p.a.

To be fair early adopters should get a better price they have helped us build and tested our platform.
They also took a risk as being early adopters

From AGM they did say they were increasing pricing.

... and the new MLB contract should increase this level of demand significantly.

Bonio10000 You have hit the nail on the head. If BIRD got one tenth of a penny per hour streamed their income from the existing contract would be £800K a year.

Hopefully we are now getting paid for it.

Sports income of £260k p.a. was pitiful for some of the services we provided.

This article gives an idea of the scale of the Deltatre NFL business:
hxxps://www.svgeurope.org/blog/headlines/national-football-league-expands-partnership-with-bruins-overtier-using-deltatre-for-ott-tech/

"There has been growth in subscriptions to NFL Game Pass in Europe; total NFL GPE regular-season viewership was up 46% year on year (2017-2018), with average minutes per viewer increasing by 20% to 62 hours.

Live Super Bowl viewership was up 33% year on year and playoff viewership up 30%.

Mobile viewership increased by 26% year on year, while the total number of devices subscribers used to watch GPE increased by 33% (a GPE subscription allows up to five concurrent streams).

Altogether, 800 million hours of content was streamed, representing over 91,000 years of content. The Android app was the highest rated of all sports subscription OTT services globally."

Well, either way they are in someone's hands and the price is rising.

It wouldn't surprise if someone from the several placings was getting out.

But no easy to know with the opaqueness of the system.

Nope, another 900k on the market. Amazing the delay. It almost as if the mms thought they would get a better price by reporting a day later... 🙄😑🤔

Worth bearing in mind that the Player has been borne from our Editing product which essentially has multiple Players in it.

Obviously a lot of work making it a polished standalone application which I would have thought is more like work rather than having to invent and solve.

I wonder what the State Department was told or reviewed to convince itself of BIRD as an ongoing provider, given it's revenues?

Were they shown a few forecasts?

Yes, amazingly even after we sign new deals we still have the player to look forward to. That will be the rocket ship to Mars moment.
Well unless they are chatting to Google about player, then it's Milky Way.
