18/10/2019 09:18 | Friday deja vu. | sideshowbull
17/10/2019 18:33 | Thanks Chris I just learned a new word "moribund". Who knew. Also a new one from Horne "Gambol". Cheers for that too. I think we are heading in the right direction. I think IM has a clue. BWTFDIK | sideshowbull
17/10/2019 17:37 | Or "to play like new born lambs". Full of innocence and the joys of life. That's our lot in BIRD. But it's a nasty world out there. I can think of at least 4 different ways to extract value from a company that will leave the holders of as much (or more) as 30% of the shares impotent to stop it. P*ss off the shareholders and a deal at much less than they might like is on the cards. Personally I want what they want but patience comes at a price like... being properly informed. Will the company break even in 2020 on current forecasts? That would do as a starter... nothing tied to a particular client. But they have gone native again with only what they are legally obliged to disclosed published. It doesn't improve shareholder value. Next AGM I will finally get off my backside and look to vote off moribund directors who contribute little or no value. It won't succeed but it will send a signal. | chriscallen
17/10/2019 12:22 | Gambol = crack and hookers. God forbid they should even think about gambling! | horneblower
17/10/2019 11:53 | Hookers' cracks? | bonio10000
17/10/2019 11:44 | When will our ship full of treasure arrive? Perhaps its just out of sight over the horizon waiting for tomorrow's inflowing tide. Best be up early just in case... | denjon
17/10/2019 11:35 | Crack and hookers more like it. | sideshowbull
17/10/2019 10:43 | ...to have a bit of a gambol :) | horneblower
17/10/2019 09:51 | IBC is for Europe NAB Las Vegas is THE show and they fly in from around the world. | nickb
17/10/2019 09:35 | The NY NAB say in the blurb that 2/3rds of the attendees go to no other show... not a surprise when it is over 2,200 miles and just under 5 hrs to Las Vegas. Cairo is about as far from Heathrow and that has camels and pyramids as an added attraction; perhaps IBC could use it as a venue in alternate years? Have BIRD done joint presentations with TownNews before? | chriscallen
17/10/2019 09:18 | It’s NAB New York so a small show compared to the big NAB in Las Vegas in April TownNews has a stand. | nickb
17/10/2019 07:33 | Maybe they got double booked with Microsoft and Google? | bonio10000
17/10/2019 07:31 | Surely they must be at NAB. Unless there is no need any more? BWTFDIK | sideshowbull
17/10/2019 07:15 | I completely forgot that NAB New York is on today. Did BIRD send anybody last year as they don't appear to be there. Perhaps they are too busy following up on IBC. | chriscallen
16/10/2019 21:17 | Yep Needs another six figure deal to breach 20p | geheimnis2
16/10/2019 19:09 | Time for IM to seal a deal and put a floor in at 20p. | bonio10000
