Are you not aware that people buy shares on borrowed money/borrowed time?
How to generate selling, push the price lower and lower.
Institutions are not the problem |
Chriscallen, taking a 15% stake in an illiquid smallcap with no profits is the original risk Premier Miton took. They are not idiots and will have known from the start that there was no way out if they needed to sell quickly. They assessed that the risk/reward was obviously worth it to them at the time. The company's prospects are obviously still high risk, but with the upcoming launch in just a few weeks, surely better than they have been for some time? So I don't see any reason why Miton would keep selling at these levels on fundamentals - however if their hand is being forced by redemptions or a new director etc, that's a different matter. |
Yes, the lack of basic share trading knowledge here is astounding. Or of course it’s all part of the plan. The manipulation that they accuse others of is the name of the game |
NickB.
Your sounding like the Riddler again. |
The problem for Premier Miton is that they are in a no win position. If BIRD doesn't take off and they do not sell now they are locked into a sizable holding on which they have substantial losses and could lose more. If BIRD really does take off and demonstrates it has become a unicorn they become known as the investment advisors who lost their nerve, sold and cost their investors a fortune as a result. |

What about punters buying on borrowed money?
Seen it all before |
Well picked up 33k at 4.46p seems a bargain! |
No one is spread betting on stocks like this. |
Probably spread betters hitting stop loss levels
Hitting Stop loss levels is the greatest game I was once told (by someone who knew)
As SSB says Own your shares no leverage |
Unfortunately we don’t. |
Cabi true we don't know who the current seller is - but we do know that they can't have that many?! |
RESPECT THE BIRD |
3 million shares sold is £150k over a Q nothing really.
The narrative that the selling is fund managers has collapsed in my view.
Cabi ‘…and they don’t seem to care how far they push the market down.’
😀 correct |
CH.
There were no surprises, so if anything it looked good.
Problem is we don’t know who current seller is, and they don’t seem to care how far they push the market down. |
Bonio.
Exactly.
As if what anyone on here says, moves the market.
Hilarious. |
So there we go, RNS - Miton have only sold 1% since their last declaration months ago... They're definitely not dumping their full holding as some had feared! Can anyone explain the thinking about the Bloomberg holdings list in a post earlier today? Are we thinking that all of the instis who wanted to sell, have now sold their full holdings? |
That'll be it Nick
Several major holders have sold because of some posts on ADVFN. |
Doesn’t need me NickB, it’s doing it all on it’s own. |
‘3 handle incoming.’
Cabi
Are you manipulating sentiment here?
Then we have bonio with his post Sumit leaving fear? |
4.26 trades.
3 handle incoming. |
