10/10/2014 08:21 | I would have thought this would have been (really) rocketing by now. Western Europe is evidently not geared up to the no. of beds needed (2 in London?), if the virus gets a foothold (let's hope not) in an EU state. | andrbea
09/10/2014 19:01 | The Daily Telegraph has it top story on their web page 34 mins ago. BQE on their website September: "Bioquell’s technology was again deployed earlier this month in a London hospital to decontaminate the unit where the British Ebola patient had been treated and then discharged. This, together with other deployments globally, establishes Bioquell as the ‘go to’ company for Ebola decontaminations." Go to?! | bbluesky
09/10/2014 18:19 | Yes, they must be well placed with their contamination room product. At least they should help to save some lives from this terrible disease. | topvest
09/10/2014 16:27 | ...about time that the BQE price reacted! | bountyhunter

09/10/2014 13:26 | Middlemore prepares and practises for Ebola "A Bioquell machine will be used to sterilise all areas the patient has been in by spraying the area with hydrogen peroxide." | sharpshare
02/10/2014 12:09 | Yes the company should be making hay with their ICE-pods | brummy_git
27/8/2014 19:45 | Well the half year report wasn't too bad, given there was a reasonably chunky win in the troubled division. Still think some sort of valuation creation event could be on the cards. | topvest
27/8/2014 17:35 | That should be too long! | pinkie
27/8/2014 15:48 | No new low on the latest news not surprisingly since this neat outfit is going to have to worry about being taken over before to long probably coinciding with the Bio Div results improving | pinkie
05/8/2014 10:04 | Christopher Mills is using the language at Oryx which implies he thinks the company should be broken up. To call it as a "UK conglomerate" makes the point in my view. I very much agree. Let TRaC free to grow and be valued separately. The company is a UK conglomerate with two divisions consisting of Bio-decontamination and TRaC. The Biodecontamination division develops, designs and manufactures specialist surface sterilisation and filtration technology as a component of life sciences, defence sectors and health care and is a world leader in this market sector. TRaC division provides specialist testing, regulatory and compliance services to companies around the UK. The company is currently introducing a number of new products which could accelerate profit over the next few years. Going forward the company continues to see growth opportunities as it is launching a range of new products. The company remains focused on the Biodecontamination division increasing recurring revenues with encouraging signs of new opportunities to do business in the US, however trading in Asia remains difficult to predict. TRaC is well positioned in the market for further growth from its increasing range of services. | topvest

06/6/2014 08:51 | Thx for your reply APAD. Rather a contrary/mixed set of notes! I'll continue to monitor (as I have for some years now), but share price progress may take some time here given the forthcoming poor H1 results, so no need to do more than watch for a while methinks. Interesting to see how sensitive bbluesky is in responding to a single three line post asking for info/opinions. BQE is indeed a decent company at its core imo, but given its dire performance you'd have thought a little helpful discussion would be useful. Getting personal is more revealing about bbluesky than anything else. Oh well, c'est la vie :o)) | rivaldo
04/6/2014 18:50 | er looking to buy Riv? cash heavy after your luck of being in front of the screen with DQE? you missed the divi or maybe you didn't as by extraordinary coincidence it was today. Trying to get in on the cheap? If it is expensive I suggest you put your "lucky screen" cash into ACM where you seem to be posting the sweetness of the stock daily. I am with APAD short term v disappointed but there is definitely a decent business there and remain optimistic in the long term, so take your hustling elsewhere Riv.... | bbluesky
04/6/2014 15:43 | Nope, Here are my notes: Not delivering. Still spending. No debt. 8% div increase. Jam tomorrow. Hold. apad | apad
04/6/2014 15:17 | This still seems very expensive at first glance - forecasts are now down to 4.7p EPS this year, and 7.2p EPS next year. Anyone persuade me otherwise? | rivaldo
19/5/2014 17:52 | Just wondering if the competition are responsible for the no capex orders. | zipstuck
17/5/2014 10:48 | Well we shall see Brummy. I think this will go back to 96p myself. Wider market sentiment is poor. There are quality stocks with decent divis, decent managements, decent track records and actually growing revenues and profits whose share price is in decline. I'll happily put my money into one of these. The initial reason I put my money into these was because I was working in a hospital and knew how serious MRSA is. I was attracted by BQE for this but after holding for many years they seem to not be progressing in this area. I have had great divis from BQE so no complaints over all but I am just disillusioned with the compnay not meeting already lowered expectations. I can see a not meeting the lowered expectations of previously lowered expectations in the next statement.I am quite pleased to have quarantined my share cert into my sell folder in case their profit warnings cause contagion in my portfolio. BQE board, the experts in daisy-chaining of profit warnings! | mach100 |
