27/3/2018 07:19 | Lots of great stuff, but this stands out:Bioplastics made a significant breakthrough in 2017 with the adoption by one US customer of its revolutionary bio-degradable mesh for coffee pods. That customer is in the process of converting its mesh needs to Biome's product exclusively and the financial impact of that will be felt in 2018. We are continuing with trials to encourage other producers to adopt our technology. We continue to develop innovations for the coffee-pod market, among others, and are currently in advanced trials to supply an improved ring product. If successful, this new product is expected to positively impact our second-half performance in 2018. | nithbank

23/3/2018 08:26 | In TWO sectors which are primed for take off. Not only BioPlastics, but also fibre optics infrastructure for 5G telecoms... "...The RF division also had a strong year with revenues of GBP4.0m, an increase of 32% over 2016 revenues of GBP3.0m. The increase in revenues is attributable mainly to robust demand for the fibre optic furnace products underpinned by the roll out of infrastructure investment in telecommunications, including "5G", in Asia. As 2018 commences, the RF division has a strong order book which is ahead of that at the comparable point in 2017." | someuwin
