right on the cusp of long term resistance/support levels

if this breaks up, then nothing much between here and £3.10 IMO, maybe a pause at £2.80

Dow still falling. Its unbelievable some of the swings in major indices at the moment. One day up, next day down, wheres it all going to end. Theres a poll on yahoo money (UK), what would you rather have your money in today. Would you believe FTSE tracker is most popular, i voted gold, but thats third behind savings account. 4th is......under the mattress. In Biffa was not an option :-)

Tarmac rolls out waste scheme
(31 October 2007 00:00)

Following successful regional trials, Tarmac Topblock is to roll its waste take-back scheme out nationwide.

The scheme will be available to those who place initial orders of at least 2,000m of the company's aggregate or aircrete blocks.

Blocks will be delivered to site along with bags supplied by Hippowaste. Once 10 or more bags are full of broken, damaged or unused blocks, they will be collected and returned to the nearest Tarmac recycling plant.

Alistair Whittaker, commercial director at Tarmac Topbloc, said: "The initiative will enable our customers to achieve cost-saving benefits by not disposing of block waste as landfill, while ensuring that discarded block material is recovered responsibly and reused in new applications."

Tarmac is also in talks with Biffa Waste and Recycling to look at the possibility of introducing a roll-on skip option.

Pre-treatment rules to bring commercial recycling boom
26-10-2007

Regulations requiring landfilled waste to be pre-treated from next week will lead to a commercial recycling revolution similar to that experienced with household kerbside recycling, it has been predicted.............

........The challenge now lies in collecting multi-products for business customers, so we have to offer more varied services. We are now going through the same cycle as we did with the municipal sector.....Nick Gregg, Biffa.........
