If it falls below 200p, that's even better as we have a chance to buy larger slice of the company. I bought it average price of 260p and would increase some more soon.

In the short term, biffa doesn't have too many ways to increase revenue. The extra tax put on landfill means its expensive for Biffa as well as its clients. There are other waste disposal people who are already into the recycling in a bigger way, although biffas strategy (ive been told by a guy in waste) is good but needs 12 months to bear fruit.

Given that the future eps is so low, the margins are being squeezed and that credit has suddenly become a lot more expensive (takeover target possibly less likely), its not too surprising that its getting hammered.

It wasn't that long ago that 22,000,000 shares were dumped into the market, surely it takes a little time to soak that up.

I went long on shares and covered it with a spread short. It was working fine right up until I closed the short at 230 thinking it was about to bounce :(

Because it`s about greed and fear and at the moment we have the latter!Sentiment will change, i believe, but it will take time but meanwhile just crack open a beer and chill!

I cannot understand why people are selling them at 40p BELOW the flotation price. The company are making profit and they are in mandatory needed service industry. Why buy shares in a company that is making a profit and sell them for less, hte directors are buying so there shouldn't be any problems within the company itself.

If you bid the shares and your bid is filled, it will show as a sale from the seller to you, if you buy from an offer/seller it shows as a buy. Either way there are too many persons offering the shares toooo cheaply.

Well it has been in a downward trend for quite some time...calling the bottom is pretty tricky when the trend is against you......then again, I have also been buying recently so that makes two of us.....I did read that one of the larger houses has a 220p target for buyers to look for so don't lose too much heart.....

only a matter for time before we see a recovery here unless we see carnage in the US markets again this week.

Surprised there is not more press coverage regarding Biffa especially as they are a possible future take-over target.
