Gaming worth more than video and music combined :https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/technology-46746593?

That's like saying all websites should do their own advertising instead of using google, yahoo, Microsoft and thousands of other networks. Bidstack allows advertisers to plug in via platforms like pubmatic, they also have a programmatic element taking the hassle away from game publishers and advertisers/agencies. Once everyone is plugged in campaigns can automatically allocate a % of spend to games. I think the concept hasn't been fully understood.theres no reason EA won't use bidstack.

You're deluding yourself by comparing Bidstack to PayPal. Not relevant whatsoever

Exactly. If EA can do their own advertising on FIFA etc, then I see no reason why the others would pay a third party to do so. It'd be one of the first things cut when cost saving too. I acknowledge they're picking up contracts, but I'd be very surprised if they're anywhere near profitability. Imo, this is a small fry operation. I just don't see this as a blue sky venture. I hope for the sake of those heavily invested that I'm wrong, but I'm going to follow my gut and sit and watch for the time being

Hi all having a good look into this, the main thing for me is that just having played fifa 19 they are already advertising stuff on the boards that benefit them ie twitch.
I only noticed the advertising when watching the Kids play.
I know they have the software to integrate into games but I am sure the big companies have the geeks at work trying to do it for themselves.
So I will wait and see what sort of revenue they get and if it's near there targets.
I will also want to know the cash out flow yes they have plenty of it but they will definately need to raise funds at some point.

Yes, reminds me of MONI. First mover, which everyone subsequently improved upon

They only plan to get 5% fills by end of December according to the broker note, FM19 has 35k concurrent players on average, can you work out how often you'd see an ad on that basis? especial as that's linear growth, it's not that often.Don't forget this is programmatic advertising, once the companies are integrated the ads just flow through, there would be a big increase in advertising once dsp's are online.

This is a typical case of first mover (dis)advantage.
They can sign 100 contracts but although difficult, that's the easy bit.
The really difficult bit is convincing a dinosaur advertising industry that in game advertising is something that they should divert fixed spend into.

So far this company has singularly failed to do that, which is why you should look at football manager. If you see hundreds of adverts rolling in it (not free ones like Cherno Samba's book, the kaiser or charity ads) then you know they've gained traction and the cash is flowing. If you see the same 6-10 ads you know the company is just losing money...

Summary: More adverts = More cash. More contracts = Nothing without the former.

I always suspected that Bidstack would be a 10 bagger - only another 53p to go. Enjoy the ride.
