CDM is the obvious choice to go with this investment too as BIDS has clearly done so well.

"Gaming sector is hotting up, seems @bidstack and Codemasters are well placed to take advantage. Worth noting the signicant undervaluation of both companies. #bids #cdm"

The FT article referred to highlights just how wide an audience streaming platforms and digital downloads can capture: "as well as their reach to potentially billions of customers". Perfect for those looking to advertise.

As a reminder of the potential here, worth (re)watching Justin Waite's recent video:

hazl,I agree with all you said, usually the notification would/should have shares left or none that's all.
I shan't mention it again!

Stoaty its about NOTIFIABLE interest that's why we don't know exact number.
I think it's a bit of a red herring really.
I think the company is going from strength to strength.

She's gone under 3% which means should could have sold some or all. Impossible to tell.

If she still has shares then impossible also to know her intention with respect to these. She might intend to sell all at once, sell over a period of time or keep for longer.

In the bigger scheme of things, it's only 3% of the overall equity. If the story continues to build as I expect it will, then there is significant further upside here over time.

James Draper is holding onto his 20.75%, nearly 7x Ann Gloag's stake, and I imagine will be happy to do so until the share price is very much higher.

The story has really only just started here.

Are we sure she has sold out,if so the share price has done magnificently to keep rising.
The announcement says what shares she held prior to announcement, but is silent of the holding afterwards. I could be totally wrong, but surely if nil shares left, it should say nil?

Agreed sja123, the profit is so miniscule in relation to her net worth, it was definitely not about money.

It makes more sense if it was to help promote the company and get it off the ground initially. As you suggest, it could be that some directors are known to her and she was keen to help.

Perhaps now the company has successfully launched she feels she has done her job and is happy to move on.

That was my thinking too cf456... Hardly seems worth her bother monetarily... So one assumes it was either to support the launch of Bidstack.... Perhaps some directors are known to her.... Or alternatively, someone managing part of her portfolio invested/invests in many such companies....

Puzzling as to why Ann Gloag even bothered if you think about it.

Say she bought 5964229 shares at 6p on 19th Sept 2018 and sold them at 9p on 21st Feb 2019. That's a profit of £178,927.

Yet her net worth in 2015 (Wikipedia) was £1.04 billion.

So the profit she made was a miniscule 5,812th of her net worth.

That's the equivalent of making a measly £17.20 profit on a portfolio of £100k. Seems totally pointless from a monetary perspective.

---

So clearly her transaction wasn't to do with the money. Maybe it was more about helping get publicity for Bidstack when it was listed.

Just a bit of short term noise.

Plenty of news flow in the weeks and months ahead to continue to drive the share price upwards.

The imminent launch of Dirt Rally 2 should generate further interest.

The trade data on advfn isn’t particularly reliable either is it? Anyone’s guess.

Having read the notification again, there is no mention of how many shares she has after the notification. So it is anybody's guess. Certainly it is unlikely 6 million shares were sold this last couple of days, so a mystery.

No problem sja. I worked at todays mid price how many shares equated to mid price, then worked ot how many shares she is now short of that 3%, which is 2000 shares.
It is either that she does not want to have a notifiable interest, or that options being exercised/issued have reduced her holding. I can assure you all that these are just reasonably(I hope) educated guess's

stoaty1
22/2/2019
21:51
Indeed....19/9/18 her holding was declared as 5964229 and stated as 3%.... Today's notification says that her holding was 5964229 prior to her declaring below 3%.... There is no way of knowing how many she sold.... Below 3% her holding is no longer notifiable... She may have reduced to 2.95% or be completely out...

Apologies if I came across a little curt stoaty... It was not my intention...

I’m I being a bit thick here? It says she’s gone sub 3%, which is 5,964,300 shares, but doesn’t say by how much. So where do you get 2000 shares from?
busterdog2

sja123, chill, I was not doubting you! Just that if my maths is correct, 2000 shares seems a very modest amount.
