What if some of us had paid attention to all the free education that was being offered to sell sell sell when the share price was crashing only to completely recover and more within 24hrs(JD's fault).Some real scum on here and they have to be highlighted

With this particular company it has not forward growth and is loss making. It's purely a chart trade. Break of a consolidation for entry trail low of the next base consolidation. Moves that this has achieved out of 2 standard deviation is a sell signal. It's a warning that it's topping.

I have some time for what you're saying, as I probably now have a similar trading approach too you, based on:

- Identifying shares in confirmed uptrends with good fundamentals (revs, profit, eps)
- identifying bases / pullbacks
- Target the breakout, backed up by good volume and RSI
- Tight stop loss, moving to B/E pretty much asap after the share price moves up from your entry
- Trail stops according to price movement or 50 day MA

Using this method, my current results, live positions are:

+18%
+15%
+14%
+11%
+6%
-2%

In Bids, I'm currently -64%, so it's easy to see why I've revamped my trading methodology!


What do you mean my 'knowing when to exit a trade'... what exit criteria do you use? Tailing Stops using some method or selling into strength?

warren, you'll see that I have been doing that for a long time..doesn't mean the false impression given by the posted information is not misleading, you have to understand and work around the data not take it at face value....in a retail investor market of the last two decades that has never been thought of as a problem..very odd.
