just re-read the tweet and wonder if BIDS is suggesting its an out-of-date approach - "like itunes before spotify" a little dig or maybe I'm reading in too much

Remember, the placing was in July, so at end of H1 the raise would not appear. But the figures for cash burn in H1 looks pretty good!

Brucie - "The Garden of EDEN"

What did you make of highly successful professional shorter JakNife's analysis of yesterdays' results?

' The results are awful!
* Revenue down - not a growth company
* Revenue minimal - at a level that doesn't justify the company being listed to begin with
* P&L shows losses but the losses are greater than shown in the P&L as costs are being capitalised, as shown in the cash flow statement
* Hence P&L is minus £645k after tax but cash burn for the period is £1,121k
* Tangible balance sheet is only just £3.3m versus market cap at 10p was £20.5m
* cash at half year was £1,358, which at the current rate of cash burn will just about keep the company limping on for six months to the year-end
* It quite obviously needs to raise cash

What a complete and utter dog. These results are hopeless and completely and totally indefensible! If the share price were to fall 50% it would still be over valued!

Are they selling in material quantities? No. And in consequence the company will make a full year loss and require a placing.

If anyone had truely been here for the ”long term” then you’d realise that EDEN is a total scam and is currently on the “repeat” part of the “rinse and repeat” cycle. This is not the first time that they have tried to bring a head lice product to market! Over 20 years they’ve been pulling the wool over the eyes of investors!
JakNife '

As I warned last year, and mentioned from personal experience;....

if JakNife (who gets an incredibly high percentage of his bear calls correct) is short a company or on your case - be very careful indeed if you're a shareholder in that company and value your wealth.

...not to be summarily dismissed...only my opinion.

from the apple page;

Unlimited access to 100+ new games rolling out this autumn
Share your subscription with up to five family members
Ad-free; no additional purchases necessary
Start playing on one device, pick up on another
Download to play, online or off
You decide whether to share your personal data
Works with Screen Time and parental controls

------

states clearly that your 4.99 means its ad -free, does that tally with bidstack highlighting the launch? does ad-free exlude native ads within the game as opposed to pop-ups banners etc - we would have to hope so.

suggests all of these are new games too

gaming, the new frontier...

Our posts crossed money.

I think we broadly agree. I think admin costs may be a little higher.

The post placing cash figure of £6.4m suggests quite a low cash burn figure for the first 4 months.

Cash at 31 Dec 2018 was £2.1m and net placing proceed were £4.75m. That gives a cash burn of c.£0.5m for the 4 months.

Could be some working capital benefit in there but I think it’s unlikely given that revenues were growing.

Costs will have increased after the placing as they started building out the team but it looks like they’ve got a fair amount of cash to see them through the build-out phase.

My predictions for the H1 results are revenues of £1m-£1.5m and cash of close to £6m.

On that basis, I’ve modelled out:

£1m revenues
£250k gross margin
£790k Admin expenses
£(540)k loss

Cash close of £6.2m

That info wasn’t in the placing doc (I took part in the placing).

The listing doc does talk to certain lock-ins especially for Kin shareholders and old employees. I think that was 12 months but will try and check...
The placing doc talks to lock-ins and some seem to be three months only.
Some advisors seem to have got options to shares in 12 month's also.
I may be incorrect but there was always likely to be sellers from August and into September.
I am putting two and two together and hoping that the selling these last weeks is nothing more than people taking profits especially old Kin holders who may have no interest or insight into games.
But i may be wrong....

Thanks Roley, wasn’t going after Angel hence the ‘with all due respect’.

I’d like you to expand on that last paragraph though!

Does anyone have a copy of the placing document for the board?

Money, the house broker would know all of that basic information. For one it would be in the placing documents that are available and I for one was offered shares in said placing. (Annoyingly I turned down the offer)

Go after angle as much as you wish, but not exactly a crime to ask your broker for supporting docs on a share issue....

And to add. If you know where to look and search you could probably have second guessed the falling share price and it had nothing to do with poor numbers or fundamentals in my opinion...
