18/9/2019 08:57 | they may well have realised that yesterday was as low as it was going and have left the field...lets not count our chickens though...i'm sure they will be back. | global nomad
18/9/2019 08:37 | after all the trading yesterday feels much calmer so far, even after only 35 minutes... | global nomad
18/9/2019 08:20 | Hammer Candlestick on the chart suggests we hit the low yesterday. So UP! | parob
18/9/2019 08:15 | Maybe a bit calmer. With all the panic from some, and the scaremongering from the gang, you would have thought Bids had lost all their recent sign ups. When all of them are live, ie in play which i believe happens in the next few weeks, t/o will rise and in my opinion the share price is worth at least it current value on these deals alone. I think all need to look to the future, wake up and smell the coffee. If bids only secures 1% of the business over the next few years, it will be a very big and profitable business. I think the poor H1 figures are mainly priced in, and to be honest it is not that important as I am sure H2 will look alot better, and next year good. | stoaty1

18/9/2019 04:26 | Just to add to the fifa discussion,Without looking at my notes I'm pretty sure that FM18 started of with 6 programatic billboards, with the remainder 6 billboards using the traditional fixed advertising method. So no reason that I can think of as to why bids could not do the same with the upcoming fifa game. The likes of Pepsi and other brands could then carry on using the traditional fixed advertising method. | affc21
17/9/2019 22:43 | Thanks money, great insight. When these contracts are up for renewal it could be happy days for EA and bids. Let's hope they're testing the water this time around, would make sense. #Get in the game Cruel hoax or nudge nudge wink wink say no more! We'll find out soon! | throwingmuses
17/9/2019 22:18 | Not forgetting BIDS partnership with NoFuchsGiven - a fifa only e-sports team still. Throwingmuses, I think EA would do the fixed ads themselves if they didn’t want programmatic just yet. Wouldn’t be difficult to get advertisers on board for a season long contract but massively reduces the opportunity for EA. Impressions would be a simple calculation of 1 impression every 8 seconds or something arbitrary that both advertisers and BIDS agree on. Eg, FIFA’s impression opportunity might be 250m impressions per day. With fixed ads, that doesn’t change but you’d only be able to sign maybe a £25,000,000 contract with Pepsi (complete guess). If you got thousands of different companies bidding on ad slots at 1 pence per ad then you could have £1 billion in revenues instead. The impressions are the same in either option. You’d argue that Pepsi would be getting an outstanding deal based on the above metrics so it’s in EA’s interests to maximise the programmatic side too. | moneygenxyz
17/9/2019 21:42 | Excuse the ignorance guys, but if bids happened to do the fixed ads for EA (as well as some programmable perhaps) then would they be able to get a more accurate idea of impressions back to the advertisers, compared to how EA did the fixed ads before? | throwingmuses
17/9/2019 21:37 | Haha. .I'm only kidding. No probs. | girdz
17/9/2019 21:36 | Sorry GIRDZ, do it to everyone. Names are not my strong point 😋 | moneygenxyz
17/9/2019 21:25 | You've got Gridz on the brain pal!! Haha.I re-read the post, and yes of course that's what was being pointed. My bad .GIRDZ | girdz
17/9/2019 21:24 | Very good point money, I think they would be commenting on it. JD always said supply and demand would come hand in hand, so definitely expecting something large on the supply side to balance things off, EA would be just the ticket, let's see. | throwingmuses
17/9/2019 21:23 | I think that’s what he was highlighting Gridz - to back up my point about it never happening. I’m speaking from experience, big fifa fan. Only advertising EA has done in game was in ‘the Journey’ and it was a clunky Adidas/Nike Sponsorship in the story line and of course the different boot brands. Never billboard... | moneygenxyz
17/9/2019 21:19 | All the of those vids for the older FIFA's just have Fifa/ultimate teams on the banners don't they??.Can't see any ads like the clip for 2020 | girdz
17/9/2019 21:16 | Great post RPITGB. Wouldn’t BIDS be posting all about EAs major step into in-game advertising if they weren’t in it and didn’t think they stood a chance? They usually highlight such developments. It feels like pre-TTD announcement all over again. All the signs pointing at one thing. Remember, according to JD, TTD was only interested because there was a clear route to huge revenue streams. Something is brewing and whatever it is, it’s big. | moneygenxyz

17/9/2019 20:56 | Girdz, I believe the revenue for Pubguard was fairly low Certainly will add revenue to Bids 2nd half and beyond so all helps. Pubguard were wholly owned by Minimised Media Limited. Companies House shows that at end Dec 2018 they only had - assets of £27,985 - Cash of just £5,106 and - Losses of some £397,205 Not a lot to the accounts but clearly Bids wanted the software. | roleybirkin
17/9/2019 20:24 | Pubguard..Are we missing something here..Even if BIDS aren't in FIFA Ads, will BIDS still not earn out of FIFA for Pubguards ad security | girdz
