I think quite honestly,what is happening is that the tech is going out of favour.
When that happens it is not good for the whole sector.
It's unfortunate that Bids is coming into it's own just as that occurs.
Again if I'm really honest,I'm not sure what will happen and which force will be greatest.
Somebody though in the future will make a lot of money out of this very lucrative sector.
I really hope it's BIDS.

JD status update on LinkedIn 20 mins ago: Big few days ahead at Bidstack Group PLC. Thanks to the evolving look and feel of our brand visually from Will Stewart and team. It's been a quarter of putting the pieces together and keeping our mouths shut as we do so. We're almost ready to talk again. Let's see what the next week brings. I know this might seem obvious,but what we've had is a whole lot of people reluctant to lose the little bit of profit they had, and so have sold out.

Once they are gone, we will have the people left, who really understand how big this could be.

Let's hope the reality of that (or not),is revealed in fairly short order.

I think JW has a very clear operating model.

Small companies benefit from the exposure and publicity he can provide to small-cap investors. Bids being a case in point.

But... He quite often goes quiet on companies that he has previously talked up. Often because he's sold out, and / or they've stopped coming on his podcast.

He's stated that he doesn't announce when selling shares, because of the backlash that can bring. It also allows him to ramp a bit, ride the wave, then discretely exit.

He offers some good tips and has some good content, but he's in it first and foremost for his own benefit.

Been stung before on a company that he had got behind, only for it to bomb... after he had already sold out.

So in summary, yes he can be great, but be cautious. You may find you're left holding the baby.

Any time I have doubt I look at the calibre of the people they have around them.

SOS100 - Numbers can always be significant especially if they are better or worse than expectations.....

The worry is it would seem clear that the numbers will be poorer than expected and IF that is the case then the market will likely see selling until they are delivered.

Why is there a fear that they could be poor:-
- Less games live than forecast
- Much higher headcount than forecast
All suggests costs up and maybe revenues below forecast.

In some respects it would have been better for Bids to have announced them weeks ago and then shareholders could focus on the future rather than the past.

I think JW lost interest when JD started to distance himself from him.

JW has content to think about as well as investment decisions.

JW has a history of getting over excited about a stock, ramping it to high heaven and then all of a sudden it all goes relatively quiet and then completely quite and the stock falls to previous lows. ARS a good example. As he says,do your own research we can't rely on his ramping for ever. I have a small holding in bids

Correct SOS. Don't know why everyone is getting their knickers in a twist about them. .I suspect they are being used to manipulate the share prices to weed out the weak.

From my understanding these numbers were never suppose to be that significant - so what changed :)....
