Hazl, Simon Mitchell is a name from Bidstacks past mentioned in 8701 - whatever happened to him?
Still listed as a significant shareholder (9mn or so on BB)
Anyone have any news?

I think we are fortunate to be invested in a solid company in such a hot sector at the moment and should hopefully ride out any macro events over the next few months

Apple Arcadehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frLeePH8W9Y Skate City and the new Sega game sonic racing looks like it would be a nice fit for bidstack. Good that the iOS developer is already onboard https://lv.linkedin.com/jobs/view/ios-developer-at-bidstack-group-plc-1353757446

VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AT Bidstack.

Sounds as though the last few days might have been successful for them.

Let's hope so!

Likewise hazl, and completely agree. I'm in the same boat as you though, not a gamer at all, and equally thankful for all the insight from those who are. Also those with an inside track on the technical side, and great researchers that share with the board. Fantastic stuff! Even get an occasional argument with the parasites into the bargain, cannae beat it!!

Absolutely.
Enjoy all your posts throwingmuses.

I'm not good at the gaming side though it's new and exciting to me,and have to rely on all of you with expertise, but the point is, it is where people flock for their leisure, entertainment and their work in some cases!

So it is the natural place to invest.

IMO

Yes hazl, personally I'm just about 99.9% concerned with setting the framework for global frictionless expansion and therefore future revenues, and 0.1% concerned with historic revenues when the first few blocks of the bids castle were still being placed. Some guys are only concerned with the latter, and won't entertain what's changed/changing, funnily enough they're never actually investors at all, despite their passion for comment on the company.

Wonder if they got any feedback from this very worthwhile enterprise they were involved with?

'Mental health and wellbeing is an important subject for children and young people," the CCG's Dr Jane Mischenko tells the BBC, "so our aim is to signpost MindMate as a resource that they can turn to for support and advice when the time suits them."

Bidstack's Simon Mitchell developed the adverts. He adds: "Males in particular are hard to reach and engage, and the gaming environment in Football Manager is a great way to connect with them."

I watched a programe last week on the stresses and strains of the Police Force these days as they have to deal with the pressures upon some of the younger generation and the growing number of youngsters feeling beyond low is all too depressing.
A political solution I think is needed as social services and education seems to have faltered in recent years.

This is true,too of course.

'Bidstack must now work to build upon its strong foundations by securing deals with more developer & publishers and advertisers – both directly and programmatically. Regular deal flow in these areas is likely to make the market sit up and listen and really begin to recognise the organisation’s unique opportunity.'

I absolutely know what you're saying, throwingmuses, but looking in, if there are lots of defensive posts investors soon realise the company is being targeted.
I think there is plenty of opporunity to bring out the good news still.
Saw an excellent post earlier and it can great rid of them.
They tend to call you out by name to get you to reply, in my opinion.

WE can do something about them but we can't do anything about the macro.
Anyway there will be better times as people return from holiday and BIDS gets onto the last months of the year, with any luck.

Get where your coming from hazl, but it's good to point out the absurdity. For the log to make such an effort to point out something clearly absurd, doesn't look good for anything he says.

Ignore he is dictating the agenda. For him to come on at the weekend shows he's desperate. It will be interesting to see if he keeps it up shows he is worried there are too many supporting Bidstack.

Just to confirm, you are saying bids that RTO’d last year at 6p, sits at 26p today has underperformed the index?

I must be missing something, unless again you are incorrect?

Against the Nasdaq it's far worse.

I do know that a £70m market cap company that has made many claims about generating huge growth in revenues needs to show good growth in revenues if it wants to stay at £70m market cap let alone go higher.

The admission doc outlined that Football Manager alone could do 25M impressions a day and folk here seem to think just 1000 impressions can be sold for £10. That was at the end of 2017. We are now in the back end of 2019. If BIDS cant show growth then it's at a stupidly high market cap and it won't stay there for long.

Even if advertising can be sold by BIDS in volume we still have to have some visibility on what an impression is worth and what sort of percentage BIDS takes from matching advertisers to games.

How can James Draper spend an hour waffling about game shows and who he knows in the industry on Vox without giving any guidance on these critical numbers. Surely if they were good he'd say so in a trading update via an RNS? What possible reason to not disclose them can there be?

AIM index is down 20%, are you unable to grasp that? In contrast bids has excelled.

Further you ignored all the points I made that have been made clear.

Doesn’t suit your agenda, clearly.
