10/9/2019 13:45 | Yeah I saw that. It's £22 (£18.33 before VAT) for the PC version. Probably a sales bump when it moved to Switch. However the 2million sales was over all the years not just FM19 as you quoted wrongly I'm afraid. If you look at the press release it says FM Family e.g. all the editions. That fits with the 11.5m revenue number roughly enough especially when you take off retailers and vat costs. I expect they'll do a bit more for 2019 though. In contrast Fortnite did $2.4 billion last year. It's a small game. | loglorry1
10/9/2019 13:32 | Sold more then 2 million copies thou of FM19 Timmy... | thesaint5
10/9/2019 13:20 | Football Manager owner Sports Interactive Limited, did £11.5m in revenue in the last accounting year 2018 mar end. This does not seem to me like a very big title. | loglorry1
10/9/2019 12:42 | Was that after looking at the Honda e? | nicktrade81
10/9/2019 12:21 | Topped up this morning at 29. Not checked whether it showed as a buy or sell. Prepared to sit back and hold for the foreseeable now. Been a great ride from the low pence. Only up to two weeks to get these results out of the way | stuswanny69
10/9/2019 11:53 | Stoaty, I can see I would have to do a lot of research and testing whilst deciding...i have a very long list | global nomad
10/9/2019 11:49 | GN, 720s a really good car, but 600LT spider far better. a bit slower, but still more than fast enough for the road and more involving, in my opinion. | stoaty1
10/9/2019 11:45 | Mike, poor 1st half and very positive update/outlook, will go up! But agree with you that already priced in. | stoaty1
10/9/2019 11:39 | How come every week we have a "different" person on the BBs spouting the same rubbish.Strange that!!! | girdz
10/9/2019 11:38 | indeed genx...might have to get two! | global nomad
10/9/2019 11:25 | It’s in my interests that you buy the Defender either way GN 😉 | moneygenxyz
10/9/2019 11:11 | off topic - liking the new LR Defender, have since a few months ago had a deposit on a Honda e, would like an Alpine A110, or perhaps a Mclaren 720...wondering which one Bids will enable me to have...? Might just get another bicycle (a Bastion is in my sights) this time next year Bidders | global nomad
10/9/2019 11:03 | The guidance for a young company with new tech is notoriously difficult, almost a finger in the air. My feeling is that Bids will most probably make the full year target, but miss the 1st half. By delaying till late September they will have a good handle on q3, but feel that q4 will see the figures really accelerate. My advice to you log is not to invest, and go short, or even shorter as you obviously have reservations, and the weight you put on the 1st half figures shows a total lack of experience. It is for this reason that i am filtering you, because you have absolutely nothing of any substance or interest to bring to the party. | stoaty1
10/9/2019 10:50 | The graveyard of AIM companies is full of headstones that say "Here lies XYZ Ltd, we had a poor year but this time next years guys we'll all be billionaires". Obviously looking backwards doesn't tell you the future but as investors we only get accounts some months after the trading period to which they pertain. BIDS gave the broker forward looking guidance as well as guidance they provided in the admission document. If they don't hit this guidance why would be believe they will next time? | loglorry1
10/9/2019 10:22 | The past numbers are irrelevant as stated many times before on here. We already know the weighting to the second half anyway and it will be the accompanying FORWARD looking statement that will be of guidance. | flashheart
10/9/2019 10:19 | JD Said that the best part of the year would be the latter end so judging by his past record I am prepared to believe him. The announcements are going to be judged accordingly. IMO | hazl
10/9/2019 10:15 | Not long to go to find out. Somebody is definitely right. | snoopy12
10/9/2019 10:12 | RoleyBirkin I've no idea but in general late reporting is a bad thing. However to what end? Do they need to raise soon? | loglorry1
10/9/2019 10:09 | The fact that the long-termers are still here tells it's own story. Quality will always out. | hazl
10/9/2019 10:08 | I would have thought that if the numbers were materially different from the broker estimates, better or worse, they would need to let the market know. | stoaty1
10/9/2019 10:06 | cheers Roley...as expected...and the displayed offer price now dropped to better reflect that.... | global nomad
10/9/2019 09:43 | Loglorry. The numbers will tell part of the story. They are due no later than Friday 27th September. Question- are they coming out as late as possible because they are poor? Or because bids want to also announce something positive? Answers on a postcard..... | roleybirkin |
