trying to think of the future with Bids but going to an exhibition opening tonight about Factory Records Design and being thrown back into the 1980's...and clubbing and raving in fields and warehouses....ahh those were the days...

I think the recent announcements have made it very much more likely that bids will be big winner, in what will become a huge market. Derisked more now I feel. I like the price, best time to buy is when others are fearful, esp when I think it's overdone and largely unfounded.

Yes Roley you're not wrong that sector popularity is changing, and any company that is not profitable is being challenged....I feel that too.

However if an amazing oil discovery happens even if the sector in oil isn't too good then it still rises.

I am hoping that enough proof of BIDS monetisation comes out in the next few weeks that will make the difference.

I am not here to persuade people and I understand;it's really up to the individual how they want to play it.
I object though to all these spurious reasons for concern thrown up by shorters that are really based on the macro rather than anything to do with the company itself.
I've said before that the chart doesn't look brilliant.
People must do what they think is best.

Well done throwingmuses. Good luck with the investment.
Assuming all on this board are true to there word, then i actually get the impression this board is holding the price relatively stable....
BUT the sellers still come.
I will be honest, i am a long term supporter but the short term price movement on continually recited August announcements isn't holding the price up....
When i see weakness on strong announcements i can only worry.

What an accolade!

All these announcements can be plucked easily over the last couple of months from an exciting year of hard work on Bidstack's part.

Culminating in what?

I can't wait to find out!

"Our objective was to measure in-game attention, identify the ads that performed best and benchmark the results against digital browsing norms. The findings showed consistent engagement rates from participants and that, crucially, for "every day gamers" Bidstack's ads outperformed online browsing norms in all of their titles."

Besides bids aren’t tied to just one DSP, as a game publisher you’d want to go to the platform that has the largest amount of potential advertisers....

“Bidstack Group plc (AIM: BIDS.L), the native in-game advertising group, following the successful conclusion of technical trials and test marketing, has today signed a contract with AppNexus, Inc., ("AppNexus") one of the world's largest independent marketplaces for digital advertising and powerful enterprise technology for buyers and sellers of digital ads.”

'Mike Follett Managing Director at Lumen Research, said: "We were really excited about the opportunity to work with Bidstack as gaming is a growing media channel with relatively little existing research. As attention specialists, we worked closely with the Bidstack team to understand the nuances of their inventory and grasp how their audience interact with their in-game ads.'

Back in August

'Bidstack Group plc (AIM: BIDS.L), the in-game advertising group, is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Epic Games, Inc.'s Unreal Engine, enabling video game developers to monetise their titles by creating advertising space within their currently live and soon-to-be-launched games, via a new Bidstack plugin.

The Unreal Engine is a complete suite of video game creation tools developed by Epic Games, the video game and software development company behind some of the biggest titles in video games including Fortnite, Rocket League and Gears of War.

Game developers creating games using the Unreal Engine often use third party plugins to add effects to their games. The soon-to-launch Bidstack plugin, will give such developers full control to identify and define areas within their games through which they could make native in-game advertising available. This could be any appropriate surface from virtual outdoor billboards and sporting pitch-side hoardings to decal stickers on the sides of vehicles or prints on a character's clothing. Developers will also be able to retro-fit advertising opportunities into existing games, creating a new revenue stream for their back catalogue.

The Bidstack plugin will mean that in future when a game using the Unreal Engine, which has passed Bidstack's stringent brand safety checks is published, all new advertising inventory contained within that title will automatically become available to advertisers to buy programmatically through Bidstack's growing network of demand side platforms ("DSPs"), including Xandr Invest (previously known as AppNexus) with which Bidstack is already working.'

James Draper, Bidstack's CEO

TheSaint because TTD aren't a TV company but they are a broker service matching advertisers to media outlets like games just like BIDS.

Hazl are you saying TTD couldn't have hired Dereck or someone of similar calibre?

What I was hoping for was some sort of barrier to entry or most that BIDS have that others have not have.

Again during August

'James Draper, CEO of Bidstack, commented, "Given the attractiveness of our technical offering we have been looking to add a Board member who has had experience of building and scaling borderless enterprise technology which has then been acquired by a major Silicon Valley player.

"Derek's technical background at the highest level of gaming, coupled with his intimate knowledge of the contextual understanding of data, is a perfect blend for us and his work as CTO of Grapeshot eventually led to the its acquisition by Oracle.'
