£150k minus £27k

Don’t want to extrapolate but let’s say £40k a month run rate (from Oct).

233% growth rate? £500k run rate.

key lines for me, with my comment below each quote;

"major advertising trading agreement announced on 19 December 2019 under which the Company has already commenced engagement with major advertisers with significant budgets"

to reaffirm that there are clients with money to spend and who will eventually contribute to revenue

"While this may be frustrating for investors"

Thanks for noting our feelings...

"The Board will update the market on significant new games when it is able to do so."

A more cautious/measured tone and notably without timeframe expectations.

"With the connections Bidstack has made through its Advisory Committee and Board members, the Directors believe the Company is well positioned strategically to capitalise on the commercial and technical opportunities ahead. Bidstack will continue to add high calibre individuals to the Advisory Committee to assist the Company and the team on its stated goals."

there is/has been good reason to get all those people connected and their will be a material impact from their being on the advisory committee

"As a result of the experience gained in 2019, the Board believes that Bidstack's medium and longer term interests require the Company to continue with its strategy of prioritising technical investment over seeking short term revenues in order to take full advantage of the potentially significant shifts in technology and media planning capabilities which are underway."

They now recognise how the market is viewing them and they need to be better communicators of how they see timeframes in order to stabilise the share price less promises and over-excitement and more substance and realised achievements.

Money - get the games inventory and share price will rise. Might have to raise say gbp 5mil but hopefully at at least 10p. Bit of dilution but will be the last one needed imo

Cash burn appears to be half million quid per month. Only Minor revenues expected on the next 6 months.Placing ahoy or at the current cash burn BIDS willbe insolvent by the Summer.

JD has always been TANGO1 .We need to see him at an event to prove he is still physically promoting and representing BIDS.If he doesn't appear then his fate has already been decided and everything is being released by a ghost writer..December JD said I have to watch what I say and I cant say too much.Writing is on the wall for a JD exit if it hasn't already happened..Prestigious event in the US and no sign of the CEO?

Games inventory is all that matters now imo. .If they are not delivered q1 and q2 as alluded to, especially as in integration and beta testing stage, then it pains me to say it but there is a problem. .Would have been nice to hear about unreal and what's happening there. .Any chance of stifel commenting.

I do worry that this is Groundhog Day with the revenues.

Can’t deny that we will need a fundraise but the big game integrations is what matters here whether you are a trader or an investor.

Good news before bad imo.

Also - expectations are low for H1 now... low hurdle and all that.

RNS.....

Trading update...as expected, no surprises (neither good ones nor bad) foundation laying. That wasn't so hard was it JD?

medium to long term...

what would be nice is that this gets the company valued properly as a going concern with excellent medium term prospects and meaningful revenue from H2/this time next year.

Still expect this to be seen negatively by some, others as confirmation of expectations. might see a further drop this morning as the last of the disappointed leave. If we can get some information on progress in the next months we may see a stronger share price

lets see..

I am as happy as any investor could be at this stage. JD obviously got carried away. But they are working on big changes in the industry. For once the RNS was well written with three truths ie
1) turnover for the year £150k
2) Loss of £5m+ and
3) Minimal turnover in the first 6 months.
This is now a longer term story but we at least know the main facts. Too early to top up IMHO as a placing may certainly be needed in the next 6 months. GLA

Despite the 'rubbish' revenues, more high profile names continue to be associated with the company.

James Draper, CEO of Bidstack, commented: "It's a bit of a pinch yourself moment for me - and a huge coup for the Company. As the man who not only led the resurgence of PlayStation in this console generation, but also diversified their product offerings globally he will be a valuable asset, adding his wealth of experience and contacts, to the incredible team we've put together. For myself and the rest of the management team, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from a proven executive leader."ENDS

Exactly Sweepie, this makes TERN look an absolute bargain based on what is on offer. Both have terrible CEO's but Bids is the next VRS.Someone said going to the top ROPMSL obviously in balls deep and bought in on the hype with no research

Andrew House said: "The gaming industry has always been about evolution and progression and striving for solutions that make games more fun, more relatable and more entertaining for the community. Against a background of disruption to monetization strategies within games, I believe that Bidstack's approach of contextually relevant ads can generate revenue without disrupting the user experience. It's a business that can make a significant impact in the space."James Draper, CEO of Bidstack, commented: "It's a bit of a pinch yourself moment for me - and a huge coup for the Company. One of Andrew's career highlights at Sony Computer Entertainment was the record breaking launch of Playstation 4 in 2013. With 106 million units sold worldwide, PS4 outsold many home game consoles including Microsoft XBox 360, Nintendo Wii and Switch.

Yep, nothing we don’t know but sets the platform for the year nicely.

Spot on with my range of £3.5 - £2.5m cash!

No fundraise needed for the time being. The maths is pretty simple. £500k p/m burn rate.
