Hi Toadhall
I'm also disappointed that their contract manufacturing hasn't taken off in a big way.
I mean - they have the approved facilities to enable such.
Or is it a case that the 'Big Boys' in India have more marketing power when it comes to looking for contracts / "own labels" for the Walgreens / Boots of this world, or the State Healthcare Systems ?

Agreed. For a few years now I’d had higher hopes for export sales driving growth. Looks like time is also still needed to bed down the new acquisition. Lots of restructuring to do.

Hopefully Feb. 1st will mark the end of shareholder sales from II ISAs.
I can't help feeling that this is dragging, or holding, London's price down.
Possibly a big buying opportunity if there are forced sales on Wednesday. I have put in a cheeky limit buy, just in case !

Results today are a mixed bag.
Yes, it's great to see increased domestic sales. Nothing wrong with being a big fish in a small pond.
What's disappointing for me is that despite what should be a tail-wind of a slightly weaker currency, allowing the Company sell into foreign markets at a better rate, export sales growth is still pedestrian.

Meanwhile the Company trades at 148 Taka in Dhaka - £1.15 !!!

That 20k at the close was me 'buying' from my wife's ISA, and her 'selling', but this time II only took a 0.15p spread, with no commission.
AND they have said that I shouldn't have been charged commission for the 30k transaction from my Daughter's ISA to my trading a/c either, so are going to refund both of us.
Although unfortunate in the first place that II now can't hold these as "ISAble", I must say that I think they've been pretty decent about getting them shifted across accounts, whilst still maintaining the cash proceeds in the ISAs.

Great to hear 3800. I have a feeling that come the end of the month, and all II isas have been cleared, that there's potential for an almost instant 10p increase here, to take the share back to 'historical' 50%-65% range of the Dhaka quote.
In the medium term the divvy looks likely to be at least 3(+) Taka, so a reasonable 5% gross yield at the present 50p.
AND the Company is still growing.

got my holdings sold in the ii isa and rebought in the dealing account today, no commision and a spread of 0.055p a share, so thats loads better than I ever thought possible. I am not sure if the spread varies day today or if holding some in the dealing account already made it easier but it's all gone well for me.

I didn't want my daughter to completely lose the ISA funds, so phoned II.
We managed to come to an agreement where I bought 30k shares from my daughter's ISA to my personal trading account. £49 commission each way, but 0.1p spread, with both my daughter and I on the phone at the same time while the sell/buy order[s] were being processed to verify that we both agreed to everything.
They said that they had done similar deal arrangements in the past, but usually between husbands and wives on a "bed and breakfast deal"
So that's a possible option if you're in an anything similar position.

Pharma giles, yes I am aware you can just transfer the shares from your ISA to your dealing account without buying and selling them but you will also loose funds in your isa doing it that way which is something I don't want to do. I have had this in the past with other securities and for that I was told the base price for CGT was the price at transfer.

Hi 3800 - I contacted ii yesterday and if you have in your ISA, and also in a nominee dealing account, you can transfer direct from ISA to non ISA account without having to sell and buy back (so no loss on spread) - they will just transfer the shares out..

I was also interested to know if CGT is calculated based on the share price at time of transfer (from ISA to dealing account) or from original purchase price in the ISA.. - not sure the answer though..

Yes, outsizeclothes.com I got the same message today I have them in both my dealing account and ISA, the spread on selling the isa ones and rebuying them in the dealing account would be about £3k. I have found ii and it's earlier carnations rather stringent in how they interpreted the rules. Just wondering if anyone else held these in an ISA with a different broker who had not (yet) told them you could not?

II now forcing "sales"

"Dear Investor(s)
We write to you in connection with an LSE GDR held in your ISA account. We as a business interpret the regulations for ISA stock eligibility that are set by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. We’ve recently reviewed several holdings & the stock Beximco Pharmaceuticals (US0885792061) was flagged as not ISA eligible. This is because the underlying security is not traded on a HMRC designated recognised stock exchange.

As these shares can no longer be held in your ISA plan, you have the following two options:

1.Sell your holding of Beximco Pharmaceuticals (US0885792061) and leave any proceeds within the plan for re-investment into a qualifying stock. If you wish to do this, please call the number below and we will execute the sale free of commission for you.

2.Transfer your holding of Beximco Pharmaceuticals (US0885792061) into your nominee account. If you wish to do this, this service is free of charge.

It is important that you contact us with your instructions by 31st January 2023. If we have not received your instructions by this date, we will be obliged to sell your holding to ensure your plan conforms to HM Revenue and Customs Regulations.
Yours sincerely
Interactive Investor"

Thanks 3800.
II isn't forcing sales, yet, but isn't allowing new ISA buys.
I was just wondering if other providers, giving what was said on here a few months ago, were now forcing / "encouraging" sales ?

Looks like a well timed purchase. I wanted to buy more, but when I share keeps falling I wait to see why. So far, no discernible reason!

BXP's share price in Dhaka firming, yet here the non-voting shares here are lingering at less than half the share price in Dhaka. Good chance of a rising trend appearing in the not too distant future, perhaps even very soon - from next week or next month on?I I am a long term holder of BXP, I like the growth of the Company, I like its increasing international importance, I like its Dividend, I like the low share price.
Cheers
