09/3/2023 07:00 | Kurian, Vinu To: SIMON CAWKWELL cawkwell@btinternet. 09/03/23 05:36 1 Dear Mr. Cawkwell, I reiterate what I had mentioned in my email of February 16. At the moment we still do not know when all the dividend monies in BDT will be converted into USD (due to the low liquidity of the local currency in BDT). A final announcement will be issued once all the dividend monies in BDT are converted into USD. I request you to please bear with us. Regards, Vinu | live ink
06/3/2023 09:04 | Very well could be the case. Better late than no payment at all :) I am not in a hurry so fine by me for now. In the meantime: 42 GBX a share worth about 123. That puts ut at a PE of <6 and towards a nearly 7% yield. Even with potential headwinds that is still a steal imo | grindnship
17/2/2023 09:11 | Thanks for chasing this up Live Ink, I am wondering if "low liquidity ratio for the conversion of the local currency BDT into USD" actually means Bangladesh has limited access to foreign currency at present and we have to wait our turn? Just me speculating. 3800 | 3800
17/2/2023 07:24 | RE: BXP dividend Kurian, Vinu To: SIMON CAWKWELL cawkwell@btinternet. 16/02/23 19:38 1 Dear Mr. Cawkwell, Pardon me for the delay in the response. Please note that the DR payable date for the dividend has not yet been fixed due to the low liquidity ratio for the conversion of the local currency BDT into USD. Once all the dividend monies received by the Depositary in BDT are converted into USD, we will be able to set a DR payable date for the GDR holders. A final announcement will be issued at that time to the London Stock Exchange and all market participants confirming the DR payable date. Coul Dear Mr Kurian, I emailed you perhaps two weeks ago as to what has happened to my BXP dividend. You did not acknowledge receipt of this email. So I assumed that matters would very shortly be resolved. In the event nothing has happened. Could you please urgently enquire into this material matter which concerns my family's various accounts at Redmayne Bentley. Yours sincerely, Simon Cawkwell Note to BXP holders: this is a truly extraordinary state of affairs. If I understand Mr Kurian correctly he says that the BDT rate to USD is unfavourable for BXP to convert its local currency at this time. | live ink

06/2/2023 09:51 | It depends on the custodian of your broker. Last year at one broker I received my divi in May(!) and at a different broker in February. If correct, Beximco has already transferred the funds to all custodians (according to their RNS) but perhaps your broker has not received the funds from their custodian yet. I also have not received my divi yet. Patience is the key but it won:t harm to contact your broker :) maybe they can speed it up. | grindnship

30/1/2023 16:08 | Hi Toadhall I'm also disappointed that their contract manufacturing hasn't taken off in a big way. I mean - they have the approved facilities to enable such. Or is it a case that the 'Big Boys' in India have more marketing power when it comes to looking for contracts / "own labels" for the Walgreens / Boots of this world, or the State Healthcare Systems ? | outsizeclothes.com
30/1/2023 10:54 | Agreed. For a few years now I’d had higher hopes for export sales driving growth. Looks like time is also still needed to bed down the new acquisition. Lots of restructuring to do. | toadhall1
30/1/2023 09:55 | Hopefully Feb. 1st will mark the end of shareholder sales from II ISAs. I can't help feeling that this is dragging, or holding, London's price down. Possibly a big buying opportunity if there are forced sales on Wednesday. I have put in a cheeky limit buy, just in case ! | outsizeclothes.com
30/1/2023 09:51 | Results today are a mixed bag. Yes, it's great to see increased domestic sales. Nothing wrong with being a big fish in a small pond. What's disappointing for me is that despite what should be a tail-wind of a slightly weaker currency, allowing the Company sell into foreign markets at a better rate, export sales growth is still pedestrian. | outsizeclothes.com
25/1/2023 17:09 | Meanwhile the Company trades at 148 Taka in Dhaka - £1.15 !!! | outsizeclothes.com
13/1/2023 19:32 | That 20k at the close was me 'buying' from my wife's ISA, and her 'selling', but this time II only took a 0.15p spread, with no commission. AND they have said that I shouldn't have been charged commission for the 30k transaction from my Daughter's ISA to my trading a/c either, so are going to refund both of us. Although unfortunate in the first place that II now can't hold these as "ISAble", I must say that I think they've been pretty decent about getting them shifted across accounts, whilst still maintaining the cash proceeds in the ISAs. | outsizeclothes.com
11/1/2023 12:24 | Great to hear 3800. I have a feeling that come the end of the month, and all II isas have been cleared, that there's potential for an almost instant 10p increase here, to take the share back to 'historical' 50%-65% range of the Dhaka quote. In the medium term the divvy looks likely to be at least 3(+) Taka, so a reasonable 5% gross yield at the present 50p. AND the Company is still growing. | outsizeclothes.com |
