this is

so target price £27.00. Can't disagree with that.

My target was £18 but it been busted on the upside so I'm using a trailing stop loss.

Have increased holding on the way up....as you do.

The company have stated that they will not try to exp[and the comp[any above its natural market. They have the land and sites in operation to return cash to shareholders as the sites under development mature and the properties sold. The cash due on forward sales is £1,300 million with more sales to come. After returning all that cash over an 8 year period I expect the company to still be worth around £12 a share.

All businesses carry a risk, but I think that this is a well run company that has stated that they will not over reach themselves and just keep doing what they have a track record of doing best.

R Ball, It is a Berkley development. They said on the news that it was very misty at the time.

hmmm. hasn't the helicopter just crashed into their crane.

sad news.

Bonnard: this co. is committed to return £15 to shareholders. The underlying business is at least worth £5.00.

pluses:-

management team
land bank
targetting chinese and russian buyers.

negatives:-

over exposure to london
greater value elsewhere in sector
interest rate increases (albeit most buyers pay cash)

It is still very undervalued. A well run company ahead of target for return of money to shareholders. My largest holding.

One of my first picks. Been in this since 1400 based on a modified Jim Slater screen that gave me this and Filtrona.See no reason to sell yet, trusting the boards strategic objective of returning capital to shareholders starting with the April 2013 dividend

Other housebuilders seem to be belatedly following BKG's business model of concentrating on the South East and abandoning volume house building
