13/12/2022 14:03 | not if orders are left in advance. warehousing for a day then would not be an issue. | ![]() echoridge
13/12/2022 13:53 | There is no reason for pi's to know about warehousing there is also no reason for a company on a buyback programme to warehouse purchases and i think it is not in the spirit of disclosure requirements if the buyback is effectively active on days that they say they have made no purchases as their last disclosure leads one to believe. As to whether they did not participate on one day due to disclosed parameters or share repurchases were indeed bundled up over two days so inappropriately warehoused is guesswork. Companies should make disclosures within 24 hours of market purchases and not hold transactions against their instructions over to book out the following day. | ![]() kooba
13/12/2022 13:26 | And the only reason I mentioned it at all, is so shareholders shouldn’t assume that just bc there isn’t an RNS every day announcing a share repurchase, doesn’t necessarily mean the Company was not active in the market the previous session | ![]() echoridge
13/12/2022 13:20 | ???? You really want to do this? Force me to continue arguing with you about something so commonplace as warehousing just to have an argument? Ok then, respectfully as possible: I believe shore cap did only a partial of their day’s order on Friday so they warehoused that partial trade, finished it yesterday, booked it, and then RNS’d the whole 2 days buying today. End of | ![]() echoridge
13/12/2022 12:42 | Is that the whole 1.305m share buyback trade booked @ 16.45 hrs yesterday 12 Dec! | gbenson1
13/12/2022 11:47 | On cash I think there should be more questions on why a "profitable" company is seeing such sharp cash drawdown.8th DEC before latest buybacks."BATM is profitable with a very strong balance sheet comprising both cash and investments in financial assets of approximately $40m" 24th August '22 interims"At 30 June 2022, the Group had cash and cash equivalents and financial assets of $47.4m (31 December 2021: $67.8m; 30 June 2021: $64.9m)." "Financial assets represent cash deposits of more than three months' duration, held for trading bonds and marketable securities."The cash is still falling even into the second half and is down by $28m so far this year. That leaves a lot down to currency..that does no add up. $19m cash drop on currency..even after the $ has fallen back against most currencies?Interims again.."The change in cash and cash equivalents and financial assets compared with the prior periods primarily reflects dividend and buy-back payments of $5.1m; an additional investment in ADOR of $4m; and the impact of the weakening of the currencies in which the Group's subsidiaries operate compared with the US dollar."This seems a valid concern. | ![]() kooba
13/12/2022 10:56 | Barry doing what he does best. Good lad. Any more hedge fund presentations in the offing? | ![]() kemche
13/12/2022 10:39 | serious answer. first and last one you will get from me, you toothless amateur: A 'cash equivalent' is equivalent to cash | ![]() echoridge
13/12/2022 10:32 | so, of the $40m, how much is actual real cash and not 'investments' - which fluctuate in value and what the hell are these investments anyway how much is actual real spendable cash and not coat buttons paper clips and office staplers? serious question, clowns need not respond, simple yes or no's just wont cut it, lol | ![]() homeboy
13/12/2022 10:24 | oh ffs benson, knock it off. You threw the first punch, a needless one at that, on a subject you were clearly ignorant of, you were wrong and I punched back in kind. that's it. As for your '30p target' snark, you must have me confused with someone else, so I guess pointing that out that 2nd mistake will equate to me judging you again..... | ![]() echoridge
13/12/2022 10:20 | 100m cap, does anyone else think this is overvalued, simple question, yes or no, lol simple question for the clowns | ![]() homeboy
13/12/2022 10:18 | echobore has appeared to lecture everyone once more it's only the company buying their own shares, no one else is except a few clowns i doubt if they've got that much actual cash, wasn't it stated as 'cash and cash equivalents' i prefer cash to equivalents, what are the equivalents? buttons, lol | ![]() homeboy
13/12/2022 10:18 | Oh echo your so naive, can you give a timeframe for your ramptastic 30p target, please a word of advice, don't judge people you know nothing about. | gbenson1
13/12/2022 10:03 | ?? It's a standard practice. The RNS would simply refer to the date the total bargain was formally booked. Try to keep the snark to yourself next time if you don't know what you're talking about. lol indeed. | ![]() echoridge
13/12/2022 09:54 | "warehoused" lol, just wonder why the RNS states the 1.3m share were purchased yesterday on the 12th Dec, or is it an echoisim? | gbenson1
13/12/2022 09:07 | I'm must be looking at a different share. The price has gone down after a brief rally. | ![]() car1pet
13/12/2022 08:14 | Yes positive indeed, this may be the start of the Moti Nagar effect, although not officially in the chair until the New Year.. | gbenson1
13/12/2022 08:09 | Very positive news to end 2023 gbenson - it is clear BATM is in a confident position and wants to send that message to investors. | ![]() bigjon1
13/12/2022 07:53 | There are parameters to share buyback....the maximum aggregate number of ordinary shares hereby authorised to be purchased is 44,053,412 ordinary shares;1.2 the maximum price (excluding expenses) which may be paid for each ordinary share is the higher of:1.2.1 105 per cent of the average market value on the London Stock Exchange of an ordinary share in the Company for the five business days immediately preceding the day the purchase is made; and1.2.2 the value of an ordinary share calculated on the basis of the higher of the price quoted for:1.2.2.1 the last independent trade of; and1.2.2.2 the highest current independent bid for,any number of the Company's ordinary shares on the trading venue where the purchase is carried out. | ![]() kooba
13/12/2022 07:52 | Nice to see the buyback continues, as the shares bought back aren't included in the overall share total, I assume that they for want of a better word have been cancelled/taken out of the system? 2.5m+ bought back just another 41.5m or so to go, nice to see a few more RNSs.. | gbenson1
13/12/2022 07:29 | If anyone is wondering if the Company's buying is somehow sporadic because there was no purchase announcement yesterday, I think it is much more likely that because of Friday's big move up, the Company's order with Shore Cap could not be completed over that day at their desired price limit, and so the partial fill was 'warehoused' and then was completed yesterday and announced this morning. From the evidence of these 3 days/2 RNSs then, I think we can safely assume the Company will be working orders to buy consistently over the next few months - hopefully in pursuit of buying the originally permitted 40-odd million shares, which at say an average of 30p would be a very 'doable' 12m quid - though not necessarily announcing a purchase every day. Now hopefully, management AND this board can focus more fully on the securing of that $25m testing contract with that Asian government, and even more importantly signing the significant Cyber contract and beginning to garnish those 'new-term' revenues from the CityFibre deal that were revealed in the recent TU, but until now, completely ignored by the market. | ![]() echoridge
13/12/2022 07:16 | Looks as though they are hoovering up shares under 25p. They must have an idea how the company will look in 12 months. | ![]() oakville
13/12/2022 07:03 | Following settlement of the above transaction, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 4 40,534,124 Ordinary Shares, including 2,565,000 Ordinary Shares held in treasury. | ![]() wizzkid211
12/12/2022 16:55 | Lot of buying today. My guess is seller was out of Israel, perhaps a loose holder from the TA-125 index deletion in August. Seller likely near done, while the buyer goes on. And on. | ![]() echoridge |
