It is suspended...it will likely start again at some point. There is no reasonable excuse to have started it for one day buy 200,000 shares then suddenly stop and make no further purchases for 27 days. Suspended my friend is what it is ..reason unknown.Technical reason or restricted pending price sensitive release who knows.Will be having a dead parrot argument soon.

look kooba, not sensitive or anything else. You're simply wrong to use the word 'suspended' as it has a very specific meaning in such a situation which doesn't apply here (ie., an RNS would be required). You're right on your other point however. If they had something material close to an announcement, they couldn't be in the market for that period, but as that is pretty unlikely, my explanation remains the most plausible.

Maybe no purchases for 2 weeks before Passover and 2 weeks after Passover just to be on the safe side? Or maybe just making stuff up? There could be another reason for not continuing market purchases if they are restricted due to price sensitive information..could be good could be bad but without announcing why no market purchases are being made following shareholder approval ..we can but make stuff up.

Wow some overly sensitive punters on here. Look they did a buyback for one day that initiated it..they have not done any buybacks so far the rest of the month. Whatever the excuses,it is suspended..it is not happening..whether that is pending Passover ( 15th -23 April) is maybe part of an unannounced reason but does not fully explain why it is still not ongoing. Get a grip ffs.

Kooba, The buyback has not been suspended. It's just because of the Passover for the last few weeks.

I've been saying it for years. The company needs a new senior management team.
I viewed the AGM online and couldn't believe how amateurish they were. The company has good products but the business management is hopeless. I hold shares in the belief that it will be sold to someone who understands how to run a business

What makes you think that ? ..as you say the company has not explained why the buyback was suspended after one day...and its now almost a month of inactivity. The company had a fair bit of time before shareholder approval to adopt a process around the dual listing and obviously started the buyback..all rather strange.

yes kooba, of course that's true. I have written multiple times already that the best available explanation to the slow start is the awkward rules governing buybacks in Israel, and since we are dual-listed, the Company has to work out a way to provide 'equal' service in both markets. That, plus the Passover holiday period, has likely delayed the establishment of a smooth, well-explained, daily buyback program in the manner which we would generally support. I further think however, that this will be worked out soon.

The share buyback started on 1st April at then level 52p...why have they not bought anymore since exactly..not in close period? What's the point in a share buyback if you don't enact it..if they thought was value enhancing at 52p ..must be even more attractive here??

gb is right of course. fwiw, I reckon in addition to fse's list of reasons for the share price's current underperformance, an additional, non-economic factor is some remaining supply from the index ejection fiasco. Otherwise, the buyback will begin in earnest soon, I'm confident

FSE 84.4% of BATM's revenue is from the biomedical business. Cyber and networking is only 15.6%, so don't understand the relevance of your comment about Audicode.
I suspect the company is struggling because it got involved with covid and has lost out to bigger companies in that space.
