28/4/2022 14:19 | It is suspended...it will likely start again at some point. There is no reasonable excuse to have started it for one day buy 200,000 shares then suddenly stop and make no further purchases for 27 days. Suspended my friend is what it is ..reason unknown.Technical reason or restricted pending price sensitive release who knows. Will be having a dead parrot argument soon. | ![]() kooba
28/4/2022 14:18 | Maybe they can get them cheaper at a later date? | ![]() kemche
28/4/2022 14:13 | look kooba, not sensitive or anything else. You're simply wrong to use the word 'suspended' as it has a very specific meaning in such a situation which doesn't apply here (ie., an RNS would be required). You're right on your other point however. If they had something material close to an announcement, they couldn't be in the market for that period, but as that is pretty unlikely, my explanation remains the most plausible. | ![]() echoridge
28/4/2022 14:10 | "...the buy-back will be subject to the management discretion and judgement at the time of the actual purchase of shares, taking into account and considering all the relevant aspects, including share price, Company cash reserves, possible alternatives for use of funds, general market status, Company general business status and any other relevant data and considerations."Does | ![]() kooba
28/4/2022 13:59 | Maybe no purchases for 2 weeks before Passover and 2 weeks after Passover just to be on the safe side? Or maybe just making stuff up? There could be another reason for not continuing market purchases if they are restricted due to price sensitive information..could be good could be bad but without announcing why no market purchases are being made following shareholder approval ..we can but make stuff up. | ![]() kooba
28/4/2022 13:54 | Wow some overly sensitive punters on here. Look they did a buyback for one day that initiated it..they have not done any buybacks so far the rest of the month. Whatever the excuses,it is suspended..it is not happening..whether that is pending Passover ( 15th -23 April) is maybe part of an unannounced reason but does not fully explain why it is still not ongoing. Get a grip ffs. | ![]() kooba
28/4/2022 13:48 | You mean a bit like when Maxwell fell off his yacht and the buy back of Mirror Newspaper shares used the pensioners money was stopped | ![]() pockstones
28/4/2022 13:08 | Kooba, The buyback has not been suspended. It's just because of the Passover for the last few weeks. | ![]() kemche
28/4/2022 11:55 | I've been saying it for years. The company needs a new senior management team. I viewed the AGM online and couldn't believe how amateurish they were. The company has good products but the business management is hopeless. I hold shares in the belief that it will be sold to someone who understands how to run a business | ![]() car1pet
28/4/2022 11:51 | omg kooba, nothing was 'suspended'. It's only been a few weeks and I've provided you the best explanation for the delay. There's nothing strange here in the slightest. sheesh | ![]() echoridge
28/4/2022 11:14 | What makes you think that ? ..as you say the company has not explained why the buyback was suspended after one day...and its now almost a month of inactivity. The company had a fair bit of time before shareholder approval to adopt a process around the dual listing and obviously started the buyback..all rather strange. | ![]() kooba
28/4/2022 11:08 | yes kooba, of course that's true. I have written multiple times already that the best available explanation to the slow start is the awkward rules governing buybacks in Israel, and since we are dual-listed, the Company has to work out a way to provide 'equal' service in both markets. That, plus the Passover holiday period, has likely delayed the establishment of a smooth, well-explained, daily buyback program in the manner which we would generally support. I further think however, that this will be worked out soon. | ![]() echoridge
28/4/2022 10:53 | The share buyback started on 1st April at then level 52p...why have they not bought anymore since exactly..not in close period? What's the point in a share buyback if you don't enact it..if they thought was value enhancing at 52p ..must be even more attractive here?? | ![]() kooba
28/4/2022 08:37 | gb is right of course. fwiw, I reckon in addition to fse's list of reasons for the share price's current underperformance, an additional, non-economic factor is some remaining supply from the index ejection fiasco. Otherwise, the buyback will begin in earnest soon, I'm confident | ![]() echoridge
28/4/2022 08:19 | Thats even better news given Zvis substantial holding and agreed 10% buyback, there aren't many shares in open market.. | gbenson1
28/4/2022 08:05 | No ? the 300k was not a buyback. No RNS and the volume is too high. | ![]() paulisi
28/4/2022 07:54 | I envy your faith in human nature, doc, but I fear it is misplaced. Expecting, or even hoping, for a reasonable response to your question and the apology for spouting nonsense that would inevitably follow, assumes agents like carpet or this pockstone are at least genuine-adjacent. They aren't even close unfortunately | ![]() echoridge
28/4/2022 07:08 | Try reading the February results again and describe where shifty the rats allegations are demonstrated. | ![]() doccash
27/4/2022 22:35 | Maybe FSE is Marom | ![]() car1pet
27/4/2022 22:27 | Is it possible that the Shifty the rat allegations are true. Price seems to be telling us something is not true | ![]() pockstones
27/4/2022 20:42 | Well the share price is struggling leaving some with bad tempers..surely can agree on that. | ![]() kooba
27/4/2022 19:48 | '.....I suspect the company is struggling because it got involved with covid and has lost out to bigger companies in that space....' Really? BATM are 'struggling'? Is that what you 'suspect'? I suspect you're a transparent little phoney. Maybe that's why you're struggling | ![]() echoridge
27/4/2022 18:13 | I wish I had a magic carpet - I'd fly to Japan and eat sushi and forget about my huge losses. | ![]() the crypt
27/4/2022 17:35 | FSE 84.4% of BATM's revenue is from the biomedical business. Cyber and networking is only 15.6%, so don't understand the relevance of your comment about Audicode. I suspect the company is struggling because it got involved with covid and has lost out to bigger companies in that space. | ![]() car1pet |
