13/4/2022 14:32 | Well I was headed South for a break in the sun but wife failed a preliminary covid test and had to wait 3 days for the results back from a PCR test which said she was negative. Had to cancel a months worth of hotels, dinner engagements, flights etc as we could no longer get the schedule to work. This is the 4th trip we have cancelled over the last couple of years. I watched an intuitive report from the head of critical care at a large hospital here. It was interesting insofar as they stressed that a different approach was needed in dealing with these outbreaks. Essentially they are pushing treatments and correct identification of pathogens and their various strains. The head doctor referenced the need to get the correct diagnosis and match the appropriate treatment to the condition as they really wanted to avoid these patients ever hitting the ICU. And that folks is what BATM/Ador/Adaltis are going to introduce on May 1st... Rapid, accurate identification of a host of pathogens and then match the treatment to the condition. I think a fair few will take notice of this new RCA diagnostics platform. BATM has re hired a non executive director well known to them in the past who appears to have logistical value to them. Quite why it was suggested that they hired a 75 year old director to orchestrate a management change and replace themselves is fanciful BS. Still the US voted Biden in so anything I guess is possible. SP is trashed for a number of reasons. Tech sector got whacked and diagnostic companies very badly hit. Index fiasco and misconception that this is a covid company. We have an unending pandemic and a war in Europe. Understandably investors are skittish. The company itself is not well understood and that does not help. Having said that I am not sure what they can do other than what they have been doing. They do keep us all up to date and there is a twitter feed and numerous interviews explaining current technology and partnerships they have made. | ![]() fse

13/4/2022 13:47 | '...The very recently self appointed font of all knowledge on Co matters EchoEcho and his bunch of merry men will probably have a field day with this!! Light the touch paper and stand well back..' Just like trying to suggest how long you've owned a share somehow protects you from accusations of nonsense-peddling, using that kind of cringe-y phoney modesty, 'aw shucks, I'm just a regular guy giving his opinion' also betrays your insecurities, gb. You're insecure pretty much because you should be. Frustration with the share price and the slow pace of management engagement is indicative of a miserable small cap market and a management focused primarily on the business, at times at the exclusion of everything else, and that's it. Try harder to keep your conspiracy theories for the QANON threads. | ![]() echoridge
13/4/2022 13:15 | When I look at the Sp declining over 50% in the last 12 months or so against strong fundamentals going forward, I conclude something just isn't right. There is something happening internally that genuine shareholders are not party too. The lack of buybacks since they were agreed, the lack of communication from the Co to the ratty article although it did effect the Sp, the incompetence by the board to sort out the listing issue in London although they had a year to sort it, someone has taken their eye off the ball, bringing in a non exec director with immediate effect. The very recently self appointed font of all knowledge on Co matters EchoEcho and his bunch of merry men will probably have a field day with this!! Light the touch paper and stand well back.. | gbenson1
13/4/2022 12:31 | gbenson, whats the appointment of a 75year old non-exec got to do with zvi standing down? | ![]() nellyb
13/4/2022 11:43 | All very true, jimmy. Cash is precious and especially with an innovation company like BATM, where there is the constant possibility that a sudden, significant need for capital arises for a project or business that offers the Company a return on equity superior to buying back their own shares. For me however, aside from my own intelligence talking to big shareholders and occasionally, the company itself, I think it would take something akin to having the opportunity to fund a business to replace the mobile phone, to deter management from this buyback. One, the Company's cash balance will remain robust even after the buyback is complete and two, I believe management see the shares as very, very, very undervalued, so that that ROE standard I mentioned above that's needed to draw them away from using some cash for this buyback, is particularly high indeed at the moment. | ![]() echoridge
13/4/2022 10:03 | It is worth remembering that the Board have been given authority to buyback shares, they are not obliged to do so. They will use this facility when they deem it appropriate. It may have been asked for as a hedge against problems caused by the Index de-listing and now that situation has passed they may prefer to keep their powder dry to exploit future opportunities. In an interview earlier this year Zvi strongly hinted at game-changing news regarding diagnostics due around May, perhaps the Board see better shareholder value being obtained from the cash pile in this area, time will tell however the non-exec appointment, given his background, certainly suggests to me that they see greater opportunities in this area. As for the comments regarding Zvi I would echo 'Echoridge' comments, he is by far the company's biggest asset and judging from recent interviews he plans going nowhere soon. | jimmywalkden
13/4/2022 09:30 | Look gb, I get the interest in maintaining some kind of kum ba ya and I often shoot first and apologise later. But posters like you must also try and understand that you do as much or more damage when - as much as I sympathise with the level of frustration over the snail's pace of management action, etc - you connect a couple of disparate, utterly unrelated points and try to use them to justify some kind of otherwise wild speculation. And again, I'm very sorry to have to tell you this, but one's 'length of service' as it were, either as a long-term shareholder or poster or both, does not in any way inoculate someone against this type of criticism. Poor analysis, combined with a naive understanding of how public companies operate within public markets, is not made one bit less dangerous because of how long the poster has been a shareholder. Nameste indeed..... | ![]() echoridge
13/4/2022 08:57 | Hi echridge and here was me thinking these boards were for investors to engage with each other. I'll take the embarrassing piffle comment with a pinch of salt, let's just see what the next few weeks/month throws up. Been a long term physical investor in BVC for 10 years+. Nameste.. | gbenson1
13/4/2022 08:46 | Ive just read the RNS. The non exec is a scientist so I doubt he will add anything to the commercial thrust. Zvi will have to be removed. He won't go of his own accord. Hope you are right | ![]() car1pet
13/4/2022 08:36 | If that's what qualifies as a 'strong feeling', gb, based on the slimmest of evidence, I think you should strongly consider getting out of the feeling business altogether, even on anonymous message boards. Embarrassing piffle | ![]() echoridge
13/4/2022 08:29 | Not a rumour car1pet, just have a strong feeling something was up, can't understand why with the buyback in place it's only been used once so far!. | gbenson1
13/4/2022 08:25 | If true that's best news for years. Where did you get the rumour from gb? | ![]() car1pet
13/4/2022 08:06 | Had a feeling here that something internally was going on in the company, hence the shorts against fundamentals. The appointment of a non director with immediate effect, deepens my suspicion that Zvi may be about to leave or be forced to leave due to unforeseen circumstances!! If this is the case the cat has been out of the bag for some time but not for the genuine investors in BVC? Expecting another RNS pretty soon.. | gbenson1
12/4/2022 08:58 | Never quite sure why it would be in mm's interest to manipulate a price - unless in a 'tree shake' situ and / or they themselves are very short of stock. Is either scenario plausible here ? Apols my undoubted green-ness. !! | ![]() emeraldzebra
11/4/2022 20:39 | Not sure there is a short seller - volumes are low. MM's manipulating the price.Time for another buyback or contract announcement | ![]() paulisi
11/4/2022 15:28 | Appears there's still a shorter/seller active in the market despite the buyback programme. The fundamentals of this company are very attractive going forward, not sure if the company are trying to counter the selling effect, as they've only been in the market buying on 1 occasion. This would be a nice time for Zvi to increase his holding, just a thought. | gbenson1 |
